This brand new 4 million dollar home perched on a 6 million dollar lot is surrounded by water on three sides, is a mixture of designs from Bali, Tahiti, Hawaii, and Japan. The tropical feel is accented by a 400 gallon salt water fish tank, palapas-shrouded tiki bar, imported mahogany, teak and bamboo. .

The Rikki Tikki Room faces both west towards Mt. Rubicon and north out to the Tahoe Keys channel where it meets Lake Tahoe. Teak floors and ceilings, combined with bamboo walls and subtle lighting sets the mood. This room particularly affords a serene view of the Lake and boats entering the main channel of Tahoe Keys. During winter months this room looks directly down upon the thousands of migratory birds that inhabit the channel.

Sean Degnan is the affable owner-builder of this fantasy South Sea Pacific home. Sean truly enjoys sharing his personal residence with guests who appreciate the relaxing feel of the Pacific blended with Lake Tahoe's renowned stark beauty and recreational options.

Upon entering the front door to Bali Beach, one is moved by the openness that provides immediate viewing of the enormous salt-water fish tank, the gorgeous reclaimed teak floors, wood-thatch-reed-bamboo detailing, and finally the direct views through the generous windows out over the Infinity spa and the turquoise lake onto Tahoe's highest mountains. . The enormous private front lawn adds a sense of serenity and ushers one towards a gate that opens onto one of Lake Tahoe's finest sandy rock-free beaches.

Bali Beach's location in South Lake Tahoe makes it easily accessible to all the nearby casinos, Harvey's outdoor theater, numerous ski resorts, South Lake Tahoe Airport, etc. The home's community, Tahoe Keys, has indoor and outdoor pools, basketball and tennis courts, a marina, a privately operated gymnasium and a seafood restaurant. .

Bali Beach Tahoe exceeded our expectations for a vacation rental. The panoramic view of the Sierras was breathtaking; the proprietor was knowledgeable and friendly, giving us a full tour of his home and offering suggestions for local watering holes. The house itself was magnificent: heated wood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, salt-water outdoor spa, two-person stone showers.

Our stay at Bali Beach Tahoe made for a perfect honeymoon.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
