Villa Corisande is a beautiful property ideal for a family holiday and sleeps six comfortably. With stunning views of both Kalkan Bay and Taurus Mountains you can sit on your lounger and relax in beautiful surroundings. For those who know Kalkan, the villa lies above the Kalamar Road but to the front of the large green school and so your view is not spoiled by this building, unlike from so many Kalkan villas. Kalkan town centre and beach are a 10 minute walk from the villa . The villa has well appointed rooms and is air-conditioned throughout. There are three bathrooms one of which is an en-suite facility. Our third bedroom is a private lower floor suite with its own independent access and ideal for older family members who may wish to have more independence. The living area is very comfortable in an open-plan design. The french doors in the lounge open directly onto the covered patio beside the well-furnished poolside terrace or you can bask in the sun on the large rooftop terrace.

Villa Corisande is a 10 minute stroll from Kalkan town centre with its numerous restaurants and tourist facilities. Lying on the Lycian Way, Kalkan is an excellent centre from which to explore archaeological sites such as Xanthos, Myra, Patara and Letoon. Take a local excursion to the magnificent Saklikkent Gorge, Tlos castle or a local carpet warehouse. From Kalkan you can try your hand at a variety of watersports including jet skiing or sea kayaking, or for those who prefer a more leisurely pace, why not spend a lazy day at sea on a gulet cruise to local islands. Kalkan is family oriented and the main feature of the town is its extensive choice of restaurant, many serving traditional Turkish food. The town is becoming increasing geared towards the holiday maker and as well as traditional artisan shops. you can find a butcher, fishmonger, greengrocer, bank and a couple of supermarkets.

Notes: We also offer ironing facilities and also a hairdryer. In the kitchen there is a full set of cooking and dining utensils as well as a free-standing juice squeezer. The garden and pool are tended daily by the 'pool man' who, by arrangement, will supply you with an early morning bread delivery! (and stunning good looks!). A mid-stay clean and laundry change can be arranged at an extra cost, payable by the guest locally.

My family and my daughter's friend had the best ever holiday here! The villa is fantastic, the view spectacular and Kalkan gorgeous!!
The teenage girls had their own 'place' and the main part of the villa was everything you could wish for!! There was a welcome pack there when we arrived (great surprise!...especially the wine!!) and the villa was lovely and clean. Nothing was too much for Rambo or the from the owner!! Will definately being booking for 2010...just cant make our mind up which week.
Lots to do, lots of fab restaurants (that my son made many friends with the staff) and great shopping!!!
The best holiday ever!!! No more cruise ships for us!!!

A great villa in the perfect location with a superb view of the bay uninterrupted by any other buildings. The villa is very comfortable with a lovely pool to relax by. The road to the villa isnt the best and the price of the view is a hill to climb, but its worth it. I would definitely recommend the boat trip around the bay and there are plenty of other nearby excursions if you get fed up with relaxing.
All in all one of the best holidays we have had - highly recommended

Our Stay in Villa Corisande

Villa Corisande is perfectly located in a quiet area above the coastal town of Kalkan. From the terrace one can relax watching the boats come and go from the harbour, itself surrounded by mountains which slope down to the sea; it is a perfect view. Yet it is only a few minutes stroll down to the bustling town, which offers a wide variety of bars, pubs and restaurants, while still maintaining a village atmosphere. We were spoiled for choice.
The villa itself is well equipped, spacious, comfortable and luxurious with a beautiful pool, which is very well maintained. It is peaceful, with the quiet occasionally broken by the Immam calling the faithful to prayer from the harbourside mosque reminding us that this is Turkey. There is plenty to do if you are feeling energetic. The area abounds with remains of ancient civilisations, some remarkably well preserved. We hired a car but there are many sightseeing trips available from Kalkan. We took a day trip on a traditional wooden boat that visited local bays with several swimming stops. A nice fish lunch was provided, freshly cooked on board by the skipper and his mate. In general, we found the local people very friendly and English is widely spoken. Overall the villa is an excellent base for a stay in Kalkan.
