Boaters: Launch your boat 100 yards away at the neighborhood park's private T-Dock and head down river for burgers, beer and a band at Ski Shores or further down to the dam for Tex Mex at the Hula Hut. Lake Austin runs 19 miles dam to dam with plenty to explore in between.
Golfers: Drive. Slice. Hook 'Em. That's the motto of the University of Texas Golf Club 5 miles down the road, a 7,412 yard Bechtol Russell-designed championship course nestled between Lake Austin and Lake Travis.
