Beautiful views of Ocean, Waikiki skyline, Diamond Head, Koko Head, Koolau Mountains, Ala Wai Golf Course and Ala Wai Canal. Enjoy wonderful sunrises and sunsets from this corner unit with gently blowing tradewinds through this corner unit. This unit features a king size bed, air conditioning, queen size sofa bed, dinning area and a large 100 square foot lanai.

Located in the heart of Waikiki, this is one of the best and most convenient locations. The building is filled with great amenities: sports bar, car rental location, laundry facilities, swimming pool, tennis court, ATM machine and more.

Parking: Parking in the building is available through ProPark, Inc. at a cost of $25 per day. Your pass may be purchaed at the parking booth upon entrance to the garage. The building has 5 floors of parking. ProPark corporate office is located on the 6th floor of Island Colony. Information regarding long term parking (2 months or more), is available in the office. Metered street parking is good between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at a cost of 25 cents per 10 minutes. Street parking is very difficult after these hours or on weekends and holidays. Cars may be rented from Enterprise in the Makai (ocean) lobby of the building.

Internet: We supply internet access to this unit at no charge to our guests. Both ethernet and WiFi are available. We do our best to maintain consistant service, however, interruptions happen beyond our control. If your work to so important that you must be online continually, we highly suggest you make provisions to carry the necessary equipment with you to keep yourself connected. We cannot be responsible for keeping you connected to your work. There are no refunds for interruption in internet services.

An excellent location in Waikiki!

My Husband and I just spent a month on O'ahu with our two children (7-year old, and 11 month old), and stayed at this location. I have been to O'ahu several times, and this has been one of the better places I have stayed in Waikiki.

The location is located right next door to several shops, a grocery store, and restaurants, and is within short walking distance to many of the great beaches in Waikiki (e.g., Kuhio beach park, Fort De Russy beach park, Waikiki Beach). If you don't mind a further walk, e.g., about 30 to 40 minutes, Ala Moana beach park and the Ala Moana Mall are within reach as well.

The complex has a pool, and bbq's that you can use free of charge. They also have a laundry facility and small corner type store on the 6th floor for basic necessities.

The bed is super comfortable, and the black out shades are great for days you want to sleep in. The views from this unit are amazing. From the lanai you have a straight on view of Diamond Head crater (be sure to hike it when you go). From the front window in the living room you get a beautiful ocean view.

My husband appreciated the fairly large flat screen TV, and I the access to WiFi. My 7-year old slept on the couch in the living room that folded flat and was comfortable as well.

My only complaints, but not deal breakers, were that there was a perpetual leak coming from the fridge (hopefully that will be fixed before you get there).

The shower handles were a bit difficult to manage for turning it from the faucet mode to shower mode; turning it off; and the water changes temp rather quickly while showering going from warm to very hot or cold and back again.

The kitchen doesn't have an actual oven, just a stove top, which made cooking in the apartment a bit more challenging. The utensils and equipment were also limited--I bought a bigger cutting board (wooden), tupperware, and a nonstick skillet to use and left them there for the next user.

Last tip: Rent a car. Parking is a definite challenge , but worth it if you want to really experience the beauty of Hawaii. If you circle, you can get a free space on Ala Wai, and meters are free after 6pm to 7am. We always found a place to park. Get out of Waikiki and go to North Shore (Hale'iwa), Kailua and Lanikai, Waimanalo, Makapu'u, Halona Cove, Ko' Olina lagoons, etc., etc., because Waikiki is very touristy and will not give you the best vacation you could have if just stay there.

It's always wonderful to hear what works and what we can do better for our guests. Many of the units in the building were not wired to withstand the AMP requirements necessary to support a full size range, when the building was constructed many years ago. Thanks for letting me know about the refrigerator so that I can have something done about the leaking or condensation. The shower valves should be an easy adjustment for a qualified plumber. And thank you very kindly for making additions to the kitchen utensil and equipment inventory. I will send you a gift certificate to cover your expenses or will be glad to reimburse you with receipts anytime while you are here. Often, we suggest renting cars just for the days you want to tour or see the special attractions on Ohau. There are lots of options for everyone. Thank you again for submitting the review. Fantastic Unit!

We come to Waikiki every year and have always stayed in a hotel. This was the first time staying in a condo. We were very surprised how much better it was than a hotel. We had the best sleep in the comfortable king size bed with the lanai door open and the gentle breeze coming through the bedroom. The unit was furnished tastefully, clean and very homey feeling. We spent a lot of time on the lanai with our morning coffee and a cool drink in the evening to watch the beautiful sunsets.

The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed to cook our meals and we found the 4 burner cooktop more than sufficient for our cooking needs.

The convenience store as very handy and carried a wide selection of items. The picnic area and bbq's were such a nice change to eating out everyday.

With the great location of the condo we found that we had no need for a car and the bus system was very accomodating if we needed to travel any distance.

The pool was newly renovated and was a nice retreat after coming back from the beach.

We can't wait to return again in November.

condo with great views

From our balcony we had a beautiful view of the mountains, Ala Wai canal, golf course, Diamond Head and the ocean. From our living room we had a fantastic view of the ocean and skyline. We were very happy with our accommodations. It would've been nice to have had an oven or at least a barbecue but we had none of those - just a 4 burner cooktop. That would've been the condos downfall but the views and large lanai with the most comfortable furniture more than made up for it. The unit was clean, modern and Steve High was very accommodating and quick to make sure we were happy with our stay and anything we needed. The location was very good, just 2 blocks directly down towards the canal from the Royal Hawaiian and the beach and 1 block from the International marketplace. It was also only a 20/30 minute walk from Walmart and the Alamoana Shopping Centre. An added bonus was the market on the 6th floor which was reasonably priced for the area. The area though on the weekend late at night could be a little unsettling with some of the undesirable characters hanging out there but during the day and early to mid evening not a problem at all and for the nightly rate, definitely worth it.
