The Green Lizard is a new custom-built 4 bedroom home, 3 1/2 bath pool home.
Remote and undiscovered, North Captiva Island is accessible only by ferry, private boat or small plane. This private island community is reminiscent of old Florida as it once was during a simpler time. Just 3 miles offshore, this tropical paradise is part of the Lee Island Coast of South West Florida. Strewn across an expansive preserve, we invite you to vacation in million dollar homes bordered by miles of pristine sand beaches. A truly natural enclave secluded and protected. Travel by golf cart or bicycle on our sandy native trails. Here, you will find no cars, no crowds or paved roads.
The Green Lizard is a spectacular new 4 bedroom home with fantastic views of both the Gulf and State Wildlife Preserve. With a short stroll to the beach, about 120 yards, this home is decorated with a Caribbean flair like few others on North Captiva. Two Master Suites and two additional spacious bedrooms, a private pool and sun deck area, Ceiling fans and rooms that are bathed in light from the beautiful mission style windows. A true Getaway!
The top level of the home has a spacious, open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. A deluxe kitchen, great room, half bath, and a master suite with a jacuzzi tub, and its own private balcony make up this level. Well equipped Kitchen. The great room has DirecTV, DVD, and surround sound & Wireless Internet. In addition, a screened porch opens to beautiful views of the Gulf and state preserve where you can also enjoy al fresco dining. Just off the screen room, a spiral staircase leads to the lower level and then to the pool.
The lower level of the house has another master suite with a king-size bed and two bedrooms sharing a Jack and Jill bath. Both of these bedrooms open to a large porch. One of the two bedrooms is decorated with a queen-size bed and the other is outfitted as a kid's Paradise! The kid's room is decorated with a bunk bed, twin up top, full at the lower bunk, and a twin-size trundle underneath. With cushy lime bean bag chairs and their own TV with DirecTV and a PlayStation 2. The laundry room is also on this level.
