This first floor precious vacation property faces west and is located directly in front of the beach. During the winter time the water is warm and the Rincon Area have some of the best waves for surfing. During summer the water is calm, warm and turquoise blue. The gated condo complex itself has swimming pool for private use. The condo also offers two gated parking spaces. Within a 30 minute drive you can find Aguadilla Water Park. Driving a little further there are caves to explore at Camuy town, the Mayaguez zoo, 'El yunque' rain forest, and the world's largest radio-telescope. San Juan is 2 hrs away and the rain forest is 2 1/2 hrs away. JetBlue has flights directly from Orlando(MCO) and New York (JFK) to Aguadilla (BQN). Continental and Spirit also have flights to Aguadilla.

The San Juan Airport is at 2 1/2 hours drive.

Sandy Beach Apartments. This First floor Beach Front precious vacation property faces west and is located directly (50 yards from the water) in front of Sandy Beach, there are some of the best waves for surfing. During summer the water is calm, warm and turquoise blue. The condo also offers two gated parking spaces. Within a 30 minute drive you can find a water park. Driving a little further there are caves to explore at Camuy Town, cave tubing, the Mayaguez zoo, the rain forest, and the world's largest radio-telescope. San Juan is 2 hours away and 'El Yunque' rain forest is 2 1/2 hrs away. JetBlue has flights directly from Orlando(MCO) and New York (JFK) to Aguadilla (BQN). Continental and Spirit also have flights to Aguadilla Aiport (BQN. American Airlines have aprox 6 flights daily from Miami Airport(MIA) to San Juan Airport (SJU)

Other Activities: 'Tres Palmas' marine reserve is about 2 miles from the condo, it has the best Elkhorn Coral close to an island anywhere in the world. Take a diving!

Love it... and my wife loved it more!

First time using homeaway and wasn't so comfortable with the process but I decided to give it a try. Had a friend who used the site all the time and loves it so I thought I would give it a shot.
My wife and I figured we needed a vacation and haven't been away in 3 years. We have twin daughters who we took with us too. It was going to a first time for us going away and I wanted to have a little more space and we found this condo in the Rincon area. I worked with Manual through the internet and he was awesome to say the least. He was quick to respond to all my quesitons via email, answered my phone calls every time I called him, and was just truly a great person to work with. He was very detailed with all the information upon my arrival and gave us places to eat and his directions were spot on. ( i used the coordinates he provided with my GPS)
We got to the Sandy Beach area and I loved it! The complex is the nicest place you are probablly going to find in Rincon on the beach. My wife was in love with the place at first sight. It had plently of room, was clean, updated, washer/dryer and the most amazing views of Sandy Beach. It had surfing right out front too which made it a win/win for me (Lefts too which was amazing). Surf was good for a few days and died toward the end of our trip. Manaul wasn't around when we arrived buy he gave us the name and # of his good friend who was super awesome too. He was prompt and a easy to get a hold of when we arrived. I truly loved it there and we plan to come back in February. I would totally stay at this place again. I loved everything about it. The only two draw backs which my wife had found was the light in our bathroom wasn't working (but the Maintianece man came and fixeed it quickly and limited mirrors) to use when getting ready to go out. Other then that, the place is a gem. These guys are first class to work with and I have already told 10 people about the place. I also met another guy who was staying there and he said he's been to Rincon 10 times and it's by far the nicest place he has stayed in every time.
Be careful with the reef out front and make sure you go and check out pools bar for sushi and the beachfront patio bar (forget the name for lunch or dinner) both within walking distance of the Sandy Beach condos.
Thank you Manual for everything- you were a great host and you weren't even there to thank!

Wow, Wow and Wow.

Normally I write a review after we have departed but this honestly could not wait. I have traveled over a good part of the globe and stayed in 5 star resorts, and 1 star shacks. This particular weekend needed to be special. We are in Puerto Rico planning our wedding for next year. We invited my girlfriends parents to stay with us, and I wanted to make sure they were impressed. From the moment we arrived Manuel was attentive to our needs and getting us comfortable. We arrived a little early and got here as the maids were finishing up. The condo was immaculately clean. The kitchen was amazing. The tile work in the bathrooms was great and we felt at home.

We live at the beach in San Diego, so I know how hard salt air can be on things, even when things are new, they do not have the shelf life of the same item inland. When we returned from meeting with the wedding planner we opened the freezer and the ice had melted. While for all appearances the fridge and freezer were relatively new stainless steel models with ice maker etc, you would not think they would fail. But these things can happen. I called Manuel, and within 20 minutes we had a new fridge being installed. The turn around time was so quick that nothing had time to go bad. The pride in the condo and the customer service that I have received here is second to none. We really lucked out. I have not even started on how amazing the views are and the location. I am just blown away at how effortlessly a problem that could have been a disaster was handled. The only dilemma I have is deciding to which friends or family to recommend this jewel to for our wedding week. Who ever it is, they are going to be extremely lucky. If you are coming to Rincon, and this condo is available. Do not think twice. you wont be disappointed.

BEST location, wonderful stay

Just came back from a week in Rincon with my family, staying at Manuel's condo. It is clean, well-maintained, very secure, well-stocked, and the location can't be beat. The condo comes with all the essentials - washer/dryer, WIFI, kitchen utensils, even some beach toys for my toddler son and a mini weber grill, which came in handy when we wanted a beach cook-out. Even during the busiest week, the beach in front of the condo seems private and secluded. It gave me so much joy to walk out to the patio and see my family frolicking on the beach below. I rented a surfboard for the week and found that the waves in this particular area "Sandy" was really nice particularly early in the morning. Manuel was very easy to reach, extremely professional and accomodating. We can't wait to return to Rincon and now we found our home...

Perfect place to stay in paradise!

My family spent a week here and it was absolutely perfect. Other family members stayed nearby on the same beach, and for the same price did not have the amenities that we enjoyed. The security measures, the full kitchen, the washer/dryer, the awesome patio with an awesome view - everything was perfect and made us feel completely at home in paradise. We could pick up drinks and great food at the tamboo without leaving the pristine beach that was our back yard. I could hear the crashing waves from my bedroom... I can't wait to return next year!

Just Perfect!

The location can not be beat...right on the beach. This apartment is absolutely gorgeous with breathtaking views, well-appointed, secure (gated parking), immaculate and in an ideal spot near the end of the beach. The owner (Manuel) made sure everything was ready for us. The kitchen is incredible and has everything you could possibly need. walk down one floor to the refreshing pool or right out to the beach. The Tamboo (bar and restaurant) is 100 yards down the beach.

Met really down-to-earth people that gave great tips for local cuisine and activities. Must eat at La Cambija in Rincon. This is nothing more than a roadside Bar/lunchspot where you can get the best Grouper Pincho (skewer) ever. the empanadillas are great as are the tostones. Of course Medalla in a can is a must to go with such fresh fish.

Anyway, everything considered, Manuel's little slice of paradise is 5 out of 5 stars. Quiet, peaceful, great beach, beautiful accommodations all within striking distance of fun activities. The owners are flexible and accommodating and truly want you to return.
