Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths (Sleeps 8)

Adorable, remodeled, warm and cozy cabin is located just off highway 28, directly across from the lake, making it accessible even in the most snowy weather.(In summer there is lake access through a locked neighborhood gate.) Knotty cedar interior is complemented with hardwood floors and hand carved doors with scenes of Tahoe. The great room includes TV, Stereo, games, and a fully functional and efficient wood stove. Kitchen, dining and family room create an atmosphere for fun and communication for everyone (including the ''designated chef''). Two queen bedrooms and a 4 person bunkroom provide a perfect arrangement for two couples and 4 children (or less).

This cabin is a short walk to one of the lake's finest restaurants and a fun miniature golf course as well as to a local beach which allows dogs (and people too!) It is 15-20 minutes to Northstar, Alpine, Squaw Valley, Diamond Peak, and Homewood ski resorts.

I taught Home Ec. and Science in the bay area before moving to Tahoe for full-time residence in this 'fixer-upper' home. It is now fixed up and I'm pretty sure you will agree, NICE!

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin has the 'Old time Tahoe' feel with all the convenience of updates! Very cabiny but forced air heat, nice beds, good linnens. Great grohe shower heads....

Additional information about rental rates

$300 holds your reservation. We will discuss payment terms by telephone so that I can hear a bit about who you are and what your group is all about.
Cleaning fees are between $100.-$150 depending upon length of stay and number of occupants. Also pets or no. I try to be flexible with all my rates and will discuss or consider all offers if within reason. (dependent upon closeness to availability)

we just returned from our stay here and have no complaints at all!
the house is so comfortable and has everything we needed for our week-long stay. we have a tempurpedic bed at home and often find sleeping away from home a bummer, not so in this case. the master bed was so comfortable. the kids were comfy in their rooms as well.
we found being near waterman's at patton landing so great for renting kayaks and paddle boards as well as afternoon treats. gar woods was a perfect date night out just up the street.
the owner was great about answering our questions before and during our stay.
we would stay here again without hesitation.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
