Escape to Sunset Cliff Estate - a piece of paradise situated on 26 acres on the shores of Lake Buchanan. The Lakeside House is a private house and is part of a multi-million dollar estate with over 1000' of waterfront on this peaceful and pristine lake. The Lakeside House sits at the shoreline and has some of the best views on the lake. It's the perfect place to get away and relax! You might start your day with a cup of coffee on the large screened in porch overlooking the lake. Bring your own canoe or kayak and tour the shorelines. Swim in the lake or float and relax on the water lounges provided. Spend the afternoon by the pool and race down the exhilarating two-story professional water slide*. Spend the day exploring the local sites then relax on the porch and enjoy our breathtaking sunsets. Bring your mountain bikes and explore the grounds or the surrounding Hill Country. No matter what your pleasure, there is plenty to do.

Love horses? Take a leisurely stroll to the private show jumping equestrian facility located on the premises. You might even be lucky enough to catch a rider training for their next competition! Have a horse that you'd like to bring along? No problem! The facility provides full care and offers special rates for your equine friend. Ride in the large covered riding arena or along the manicured trails. You and your horse will love the peaceful surroundings.

This wonderful 2 bedroom/1 bath Lakeside House is wonderfully appointed and can easily accommodate 6 guests. It is a modern building with an open concept design offering outstanding quality throughout. It sits at the shoreline and the views are nothing short of spectacular!

The kitchen and living area are equipped with everything you'll need for your escape to paradise. The house includes a laundry room with full size washer/dryer, TV with satellite/DVD player in the main living area, internet as well as an outdoor BBQ area with gas grill. Luxurious bed linens. over-sized beach towels and fluffy bath towels are also provided.

There are two 'open concept' bedrooms. The walls are approximately 7.5' high and open above. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and TV with satellite.

The second bedroom has a bunk bed with full sized beds.

And for more sleeping space, there are 2 futons and a day bed in the main living area.

Peaceful, Relaxing Getaway

From the first email inquiring about the Lakeside House to the moment we left, everything was great. The owner is very warm and welcoming. The house was perfect for us and the screened in back porch made a wonderful play area for our 20 month old son. We walked down to the lake and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. It is well off the main road, but easy to find with the directions provided by the owner. We recommend picking up groceries on your way to the house because once you arrive, you won't want to leave.

We are planning a future stay on the same property in the Guest House and we can hardly wait.

Best Texas Getaway EVER!

My friends and I stayed at the lakehouse for Thanksgiving and it was absolutely AMAZING. We are Houston transplants; meaning, we relocated to Houston from our hometowns. We were unable to make it home for the holiday, but the lakehouse, by far, was a great alternative. Initially we had planned to check out the local wineries and familiarize ourselves with the town, but once in the seclusion and serenity of the lakehouse, we couldn't bring ourselves to leave as it was so peaceful and relaxing. We definitely got some much needed rest and relaxation and took advantage of spending the holiday season amongst friends. Sherry was extremely helpful in helping us navigate our way to the property and when we arrived the house was all set up and waiting for us. The house was beautifully decorated, fully stocked with all the ammenities you can possibly think of, beds were super comfortable, and view was breathtaking. We were already making plans for our next trip to the lakehouse even before we left. We highly recommend this place to everyone!

Beyond expectations!

The photos and Reviews of this property are good, however they do not do justice! We arrived to find the location well kept and completely private. The lake was placid and quiet we saw very few boats or other people at all the entire time we were there. Sherry is beyond helpful and accommodating to all your needs. This is a great deal and was well beyond all of our expectations beginning the moment we arrived.

Our stay was fantastic. The property is outstanding and the owner/hostess is beyond belief. She stocks everything for your stay and she's a welcoming, warm person. We stayed in the Lake House because it was the closest to the lake. It has a wonderful screened in porch that overlooks the lake. Yes, the lake is down, but it is beautiful. It's quiet and relaxing and has all the comforts of home. We're hoping to stay there 2 weeks next year, one week was not nearly enough time for us. If you want comfort, quiet, friendly, beautiful, and just plain outstanding, stay here.

We rented the Sunset Cliff Lakeside House for a girls getaway. The house was perfect! It was fully stocked with everything you NEED, and I mean everything. The property itself is very well maintained and secluded. It's simply beautiful. The owner was extremely helpful. We hope to return soon.
