Wonderful low-bank, west facing waterfront home.
This stately 3 BR/2.5 BA home is surrounded by expansive lawns on three sides and sits upon a private 1 acre+ lot with 150’ of low-bank waterfront. A lighted sport court and serene reflection pond enhance this property, with a 2- person kayak and mooring buoy available for great shoreline activities and exploring.
Why do people who know Bainbridge Island seek out the west side? In one word-sun! When it’s cold and getting dark in most other locations, enjoy the full afternoon sun and late sunsets afforded by staying on the west side. This means more time on the beach or kayaking up and down the shoreline.
Five viewing decks give you many choices for indoor/outdoor living. A spacious covered deck off of the living room is perfect for outdoor dining, game playing, reading or watching the eagles, heron and abundant waterfowl around you.
Gourmet kitchen, specialty slab granite, 6 burner Viking range, prep space with an unbeatable garden and water view. Mahogany island and walk-in pantry. Dishes and flat wear for 12, blender, toaster, microwave and coffee maker.
The beds are outfitted with new mattresses and fine linens, including down comforters on all beds. Bathrooms boast marble showers, tub surrounds and floors with in-floor heat.
Just over the hill discover the most dynamic new area of the island-Lynwood Center! Pleasant Beach Village (www.pleasantbeachvillage.com) brings elegant shops and dining at the Manor House, with the historic Lynwood Theatre, a small French bakery and yoghurt shop. Also, the Treehouse Café (www.treehousebainbridge.com) is the best island spot for family dining and offers live music.
You will be surrounded by serene beauty and peacefulness in our home. Fall asleep listening to the gentle lapping of the water beneath your room. Nearby you may enjoy a hike to Gazzam Lake or walks through the Grand Forest or Fort Ward State Park , and just 10 minutes from the main town! A short 35 minute ferry ride delivers you to Seattle and all it offers: Pike Place market, the Seattle Center with Space Needle and Chihuly Exhibit ,the Aquarium and Zoo and much more. It's all here waiting for you!

Joe and Ana Richards purchased this house in 2005
The property has over 150' of private waterfront, over an acre of land and the most beautiful setting to watch the sunsets turn into a sky that
Maxfield Parrish dreamt of!
This property has a magical feel, which we felt when we first visited. The home is sited south by southwest and sits out on a slight promontory allowing views up and down the shoreline. The lovely side yard is accented by a reflection pond and graceful Weeping Willow overlooking the beach.
The 'Starlight Lounge' sits as the upper-most deck - watch the sky move through beautiful shades of blue through twilight into the deep star-studded night.
This is a perfect location offering beauty, nature and privacy.
This property is officially my dream home. The views are amazing from all five decks/ balconies. We loved going out on the water to kayak each morning. It was so quiet and peaceful. We didn't want to leave and definitely plan to return. We loved the welcome basket, the heated floors in the bathrooms, the ultra comfy beds with great linens and the use of a very nice Vermont Casting BBQ. A fabulous million dollar home that is beautifully appointed. Thank you Ana for everything!
My family has spent many weeks vacationing on Bainbridge Island. This was the first time we spent a week that was not during the summer and we had just as much fun! The home was wonderfully decorated with first-class appliances and furnishings. The photos of the property are great but truly do not do the property justice. This is one place that you really have to see it to believe how beautiful it really is. My two young daughters love combing the beach and were visited by very friendly and enjoyable dogs (labs) from next door. We definitely recommend the property to others.
This property exceeded our expectations. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the house is impeccably decorated and spotless. We had a perfect vacation and hope to return next year.
My family spent one of the most wonderful vacations of our lives at this wonderful rental. The setting is private and absolutely spectacular. The amenities are first-rate and the landlords are delightful. Enjoying sunsets from the many decks, kayaking right off our own beach or playing pickleball with the kids were some of the ways we whiled away our time. Bainbridge offers a nice farmer's market and the local Town and Country fills in the rest so that you can spend all of your time at the property and minimize meals out. Highly recommended.
This was to be our first Christmas without either of our adult children being home, so we made a last minute decision to find a house midway between their homes in Bellingham and Portland. The owners of this home went above and beyond expectations from the beginning: they expedited every step of the process, answered all our questions, and provided us with local information for groceries, bakeries and coffee. They decorated the home to make it festive and warm and they had a welcoming basket of food to greet us as we walked through the door. We really can say that we never had such personalized care and understanding from any other rental home owners.
The home itself is stunningly beautiful and immaculately clean, which was truly appreciated with my asthma. The views are beautiful and with all the windows and decks, those views come from all directions. The owners were so talented that they even provided us one day of warm enough weather to sit out on the deck and visit…that is quite a feat in December in the Northwest! The house sits above the water but there were days when the tide is high and you look out the main floor windows of the sunken living room, when you feel as if you are floating on the water. The birds that sit on the floating dock provide no end of entertainment and I agree with another reviewer who mentioned bringing your binoculars for close up viewing.
Although it was December, the adults all managed to get in a few minutes of basketball on the court and the older adults walked and the younger ran along the neighboring roads in the beautiful trees.
This is a house that was not our own home, but our first “away from home” Christmas, yet it and the owners provided us with a warm and beautiful place to share those precious family moments.
We would highly recommend this property and its owners to anyone looking for a gorgeous setting and a warm and inviting place to share some time together.
We had the most amazing experience with this wonderful home. It was beyond our expectations, with its gorgeous views and beautiful décor. The website photos don’t do it justice. We can’t wait to return next year. One recommendation, bring binoculars if you can. Between the birders and the sailors in my family, we would have loved to seen more clearly what was either floating, flying by sailing by.
