Highly recommend!

  • 4 of 5
The cabin felt very homey, everything we needed! It is more roomy than I expected. Kitchen was well stocked! Reserving through tripadvisor was easy and the owner great to work with. The community is nice, clean and close to everything we wanted to see!
The bunk bedroom smelled a little musty but it is such a great place-didn't bother us!

Two Rock Treehouse vacation

  • 5 of 5
We had a great time at Two Rock Treehouse. The cabin was decorated so nicely. It was comfortable and homey. It felt very private, but we loved having access to the pool, tennis courts and play areas. The cabin was well equipped and we were close to so many things to do. We would definitely come back!

Owner's Response: Hello Clark family, it was my pleasure to host your family of six. So glad to hear you were comfortable and felt at home! I agree our location is perfect. Next summer we are planing to install a barn door in the bathroom and tongue and groove paneling to add some rustic charm. We love to decorate and always thinking of ways to improve Two Rock Treehouse. Hope to see you and the bunch back at the Tree House for some Magical winter fun! Best Regards Alex

Perfect weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Very cozy and comfortable, and our young daughter loved the bunk beds and toys in the "bear" room. The owner was super helpful and responsive, and the location was convenient for both skiing at Sugar and visiting Boone. We would love to come stay again in the summer!

Great cabin close to the ski resorts

  • 5 of 5
This cabin was a great place to stay for a weekend of skiing at Sugar Mountain. We enjoyed coming back to the cabin to watch the winter olympics after a long day of snowboarding and skiing. There was also enough room to comfortably sleep 6 guys. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill worked well too. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Owner's Response: Michael, so glad to hear you we're comfortable at the cabin with the guys. The ski season has been great this year and we are so glad your were able to enjoy it. At the end of the day grilling on the deck is by far my husbands favorite time, as for me, that first cup of coffee or that last glass of wine. Hope to see you in the future for whitewater rafting and zip lining! Thank the boys for taking good care of the cabin. Bring the girls next time! Regards Alex

Banner Elk is the ski capital of the south and the city has just celebrated its 100th anniversary. The cottage is centrally located within 8 miles of the 4 ski/tubing resorts, the city of Seven Devils, Linville, Boone, Blowing Rock and the rural town of Valle Crusis. World-class restaurants serving superb mountain cuisine are scattered all over the area. Within a couple of minutes of Downtown Foscoe includes specialty shop's, antique stores , flea markets, country stores, old fashion gas station/grocery store (serving breafast, lunch and a Friday Fish Fry). Trout fishing, swiming holes, white water rafting.

The backroads hold offbeat settlements such as Valle Crucis,( latin for 'Vale of the Cross') off us-194 where the original 1883 Mast General Store well worth a look for its cast-iron, outdoor gear and a 5 cent cup of coffee. This rural community has stayed untouched for two hundred years.....or Maybe just do nothing and sit on our deck and smell the crisp fresh mountain air!

Other Activities: Hiking, kayaking, Whitewater Rafting, lazy river tubing (they even provide a tube for your drinks) Canoeing, Wildlife Viewing, Skiing, Tubing, Snowboarding, Cave Exploring, Waterfall chasin, rock climbing, Kayak Fishing, fly fishing, Trout Fishing,(brook, brown and rainbow trout)Gem Mining, Mountain Biking, Antique Shopping, Scenic Drives.
