I've stayed downtown in hotels, vacation rentals and B & B's several times before I bought this house. It's noisy throughout the night with over-imbibed and zealous revelers hollering in the streets or fish/vegetable trucks hauling produce in the wee hours of the morning. The downtown area also has several inner-city pockets into which a pedestrian would not want to wander unknowingly at night. Ardsley Place will give you the proximity of downtown Savannah and quiet, SAFE, serene evenings without all the traffic and city noise.

Ardsley Park Background: Bordering historic downtown Savannah, the Ardsley Park neighborhood was built in the '30's and '40's as the first suburban neighborhood for the downtown business area. It has been rated Savannah's TOP neighborhood every year for the past 7 years for it's beauty, majestic oaks, historic significance and safe streets. Ardsley Place is centrally-located within blocks of downtown Savannah and easy driving access to the marshy inland islands and Tybee Island Beach.

She was born the year the Titanic sunk, so her collection dates back to the 19th century. Ardsley Place also has a full security system. A large, city block-sized park is located approximately 3 houses away with swings and play sets. It's a beautiful park to take kids or dog to, and is also large enough to enjoy a picnic lunch or jog through.
