The Cotswold's are one of the most picturesque and delightful areas of Britain only 75 minutes drive from London and within easy reach of major transport routes. Cotswold towns and villages such as Burford, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-water are the epitome of the quintessential English rural scene. There are many excellent pubs and restaurants in the area. Close by is Cirencester, a delightful town with one of the oldest street markets in the country. Cheltenham, another elegant spa town, lies just a few miles to the west and is famous for its regency architecture. With more than 130 lakes and covering 40 square miles, the cotswold lakes offer the widest possible choice of recreational activities. Whether it is water sports, angling, walking, cycling - no matter what your particular interest you are sure to find it here. A fantastic lodge in beautiful surroundings with all homely touchs. Very clean and modern, well maintaied. Very easy to find.Plenty of parking and plenty of space. Huge master bedroom with fantastic views,children enjoyed the bunkbeds, 3rd double bedroom, one family bathroom and further downstairs shower room. Plenty of equipment throughout the lodge, games, dvds, books etc. Excellent base for local attractions, water sports, and local eateries.
Views from lounge, deck and master bedroom over the lake wonderful.

Had a fantastic time at this lakeside house. Location and standard of accomodation are first class and the memories of sitting in the sun on the deck with the BBQ on watching the children feed the swans will stay with me for a long time. Lots to see in the area but we mainly spent the week walking and cycling. I had a real job dragging the kids away on our last day which is a sign of a good holiday and we will definitely be back in the near future.

Location, setting, quality, furnishings, facilites, cleanliness, service - even grocery pack all excellent. Beautiful modern lodge in perfect setting, with very friendly and helpful service from Brian (the owner).

Would recommend for short or long breaks with total relaxation and escape. Great local facilities in and around the Cotswold water park, including Spa, bikes, boats, fishing, etc. All within a few minutes walk or drive.

Beautiful home in the Cotswolds

Our experience here was fabulous! The neighbors were friendly and helpful. Our view of the lake was the best and we made friends with the local geese.
Upon arrival there was a welcome basket with all the essential items.
I highly recommend this rental!!!

Our stay was just fantastic - the lodge was even better than we expected - nothing was too much trouble for the owners, Brian and Carol who were just brilliant.

Little touches such as bread milk coffee and a cold beer in the fridge started our vacation on the right note

Property was so clean and had everything we needed and more - the views from the lounge and the master bedroom are just stunning - we will be back!
