The WindgodBrid, situated in the quiet desert valley of Borrego Springs with several golf courses and just two hours to Sea World, Pacific Ocean, MCRD, Downtown San Diego, Fashion Valley Shopping Center and the San Diego Zoo.

While here, consider visiting the Temecula Wine Country, about one hour drive away. Go horseback riding through the vine trails, wine tasting, hot air balloon and jeep rides or a self guided tour.

Our place can be Google Mapped at 1416 Sarasoto Drive, Borrego Springs 92004 and has a game room and three bedrooms (three queen beds), one sofa bed, two bathrooms, linen, enclosed rear patio deck area, fireplace, complimentary high speed wireless Internet access, fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker, blender, spices, electric stove range, microwave, refrigerator, air conditioning, blu-ray dvd player, flat screen TV with local multi channel cable selections. Additional amenities include electric BBQ and propane grill, washer and dryer, hair dryer and iron/ironing board. Please remember this is a smoke-free property inside.

My husband and I had a quiet Christmas getaway in this lovely home in Borrego Springs. The views from this home are phenomenal - 360 degrees of mountains. We woke to the amazing colors at sunrise seen from the bedroom. The home is spacious and comfortable.

For the last five or six years my wife and I have spent most of our vacations at vacation rentals in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, and California so we have a wide range of experience with different accommodations. That said, the fact that this was our third stay at this home shows how fantastic we feel it is there. Very comfortable, wonderful view from the living room, fast wifi, well equipped, and quiet. I have mobility issues and the house, kitchen, bath and shower are very easy. I am already planning my next trip back.

My brother and his wife from Oregon, my father from Oregon, my uncle and his wife from Leucadia and I stayed at this site. It was fantasic. We all loved the accommodation and appreciated how quiet it was at night. The property was clean and we would definitely recommend it and in fact are planning to stay there next year.

As far as restuarants go, all that we went to were good, but Kendals was the one we ate at the most.
Fonts Point is an excellent attraction, but you should have all or 4 wheel drive to go up there.
