About Lori and/or Rob
We love living where you can live on our freshwater lake and be at the ocean and/or mountains in 15 to 45 minutes. We have enjoyed the Acadia region for decades, swimming, hiking, biking and boating (and x-c skiing) in this rugged environment. Camp Huckel-Bauer is our family and friend getaway, remote and quiet but close enough to enjoy all that the Coast of Maine has to offer.
Lori and/or Rob purchased this cabin in 1995
Why Lori and/or Rob chose Eastbrook
Abrams Pond is a special place. It is secluded and private, providing a quiet home for a few folks and a lot of wildlife, including loons, eagles, and songbirds. There is always a refreshing breeze, and the water is delightfully swimmable. Visitors are always eager to return.
What makes this cabin unique
Early morning swims and nighttime skinny dipping at Camp Huckel-Bauer are a delight. The sunset view enjoyed from our deck at day's end is magical. The wildlife, stars, clouds, and even the occasional storms are a sight to behold.
