Mild climate and a Varity of landscape makes the numerous French and Italian valleys an ideal place to practice your favourite sport in total freedom. A network of 2,000 km of specially-equipped itineraries for Mountain Biking has been created within this cross-border region to meet the growing demand for outdoor recreational areas and nature discovery.
The mountain bike is the ideal way to approach slowly nature, birds, hills, mountains and the trees. Starting from the town centre you can reach Madonna della Costa (a sanctuary where you can see a stunning landscape). From here you have two opportunities: one easy track made up of roads and off roads or one hard track for professionals only. From San Romolo there is a panoramic track where you can see all the Sanremo gulf and even the French one. The top of the mountain (1299 m) represent a good finish point. Sanremo inland is a fantastic opportunity to sink into the tastes of nature .
Liguria:
Liguria belongs to one of the most beautiful coasts of Europe.
The “Riviera of Flowers” with its sun, beaches, sea, mountains and
culinary specialities await you.
Liguria has a mild climate throughout the year.
The Rivera of Flowers is a region with the most hours of sun a year.
Rallysport:

Sanremo is well known as the Rally sport city and 2008 the Sanremo Rally will celebrate the 50:th anniversary. The Rally is a three days competition in the Mountain area around Sanremo and is driven on the well know routes .”Colle Langan”. The first route is always Coldirodi-Perinaldo with the start close to us.
All famous old Swedish drivers like Eric Carlsson ”på taket”, Harry Källström, Ove Andersson, Björn Waldegård, Stig Blomqvist, m.fl. has been the winner of this famous Rally, as well as McRae.
Apart from the Sanremo Rally there is the Sanremo Rally Storico, “Rally dei Fiori” for Veteran cars. It starts in Sanremo and pass Tuscany and finish in Sanremo.
