One end of the home hosts 3 bedrooms, including a large bunkhouse that is perfect for the kids, as well as a full bath with double sink. The other end contains a large bedroom which spans from streetside to lakeside, and includes a quaint sitting area. This room even offers a desk for those who may need to check in at work. Below the master is a full bath and a recreational room that is a big hit with the kids and teens. The large, flat lot provides space for horseshoes, corn hole, and other sports. Spend the evenings circled around the fire pit roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.
We are located in WildWood Point subdivision, which has a superb community center just across the cove that borders the main lake, and includes a clubhouse, swimming pool, park with picnic areas and play structures, and day use boat docks.

Provided in the kitchen, you will find a pantry of cooking staples such as flour, sugar, oil, and spices. You will also find plenty of utensils, pots, and pans to make meal preparation easy.

About Pam Schiltz
Our family started out as 'beach people' as we had easy access to Wrightsville Beach NC for many years. Jon tried for several years to convince me that buying a lake house would be a great idea for us... I refused to get on board. Finally, for his birthday, I agreed to go to Lake Gaston for a weekend and look at houses. I caught his fever immediately and our search began in earnest when we got home.
Pam Schiltz purchased this house in 2011
Why Pam Schiltz chose Lake Gaston
While the boys and I were on a vacation up north, Jon drove up to Gaston to check out a few MLS's that we found interesting online. When he arrived at this home, he said 'Pam is going to LOVE this!' The kids and I drove home via Lake Gaston and after an 11 hour drive, I wished I could have stayed there forever. I was immediately at home!
What makes this house unique
This home had everything we were looking for... beautiful view (we called it the 'coffee view' while we were searching - no house would pass our criteria if we couldn't enjoy our morning coffee gazing out at the lake), great water and shoreline, privacy, and plenty of room for our family and friends. We were willing to accept a 'fixer-upper' but were much happier that we were able to enjoy the home immediately thanks to the previous owner's hard work.
