Son Serra de Marina Vacation Rental

This house is a lovely, spacious, comfortable holiday villa with a lovely private garden and pool. Everything has been thought of in the house, and there is plenty of table and chair space for eating inside and outside. The cooking area outside is great. The house has 3 bedrooms so easily sleeps 6 and there is plenty of space so 6 people definitely doesn't feel crowded.

The area of Son Serra Marina is very quiet however, with just one small shop and a couple of restaurants and bars (we had lovely authentic local cooking on night at the small restaurant near the beach!) so if you are looking for nightlife this isn't the place to go. This is a place for relaxing, exploring Mallorca during the day and cooking, eating good food and chatting with friends outside in the evening, which is what we did (amazing seafood can be bought locally!). Also, the small town of Saint Pere is just a few miles down the road with some lovely restaurants, and also Arta is not far. A great location for exploring the Alcudia Bay and the area of North-Eastern Mallorca, which is stunning and easy to get off the beaten track.

My husband and I are also cyclists and this would be a great house for road cyclists to base themselves at - easy to get out onto the fabulous roads of Mallorca to train and lovely to come back for a swim and a beer in the bar down the road/lovely meal in the garden/good night's sleep afterwards. The only reason we weren't cycling was due to my husband having broken bones and us being on recovery holiday!
