This holiday was really the best we've had in years! The villa is excellent, much more spacious than it looks in the pics and you can't find better hosts than Marlon and his family. He was wonderfully helpful and efficient with lots of things, and there when we needed him, but also we had perfect privacy. I have (in the past!) known holiday homeowners who actually lurk around watching you; probably trying to be helpful, but we couldn't fault our experience here!
The villa is also very clean, well equipped and mostly very cool - it's nice not to have noisey, chilly air con, but the very top bedroom was a little warm on a couple of nights. Saying this, we were there during a mini heat wave and during the whole 10 days there were only 2 or at most 3 stuffy nights.
The pool is a delight! We swam several times each day and my husband even squeezed in a quick dip before we left early on our last day. It's always a perfect temperature, and so nice to have the luxury of using it whenever you like - no need to wait for opening times, or to book or to fit in with others, just wonderful.
The closest supermarket is really very close, with a fantastic view too, and the bakery is also close - a must for bread and pizza lovers. We arrived on a Sunday, so no regular shops open, but had a super and cheap meal at a little diner a short walk away that makes it's own burgers, which were truly delicious. They sold other things too, and the bars etc were open, so we didn't go hungery.
I would recommend a hire car for at least some of your stay. We had some days with and some without - it's not too expensive and really convenient as they deliver and collect the car. I think we would not have got so much from the place if we hadn't had a car at all.
We would all love to return sometime, I would recommend this property to anyone and can't speak highly enough about it.
PLEASE NOTE - I have ticked the box to recommend this villa for disabled visitors, may not be suitable for wheelchair users, but my son has autism and he had the best time imaginable and the whole holiday was perfect for him. So I would definitely say "suitable for learning disabilities".
