One Word....GREAT !!!!!! I do read others reviews before I rent. The reviews on this property were exact. It is perfect!!! We really enjoyed the home...listening to the ocean at sunrise...most especially at night..sitting on the porch with a glass of wine. We have Yorkies, so, we brought a baby gate with us to block the exit from the porch to the yard. This way, our pets were safe and enjoyed the property, as well. We enjoy antiqueing and history.... There are many antique shops as well as a historic sights to visit. Plus, the owner supplied us with info on the local shops, activities, sites and restaurants. It is a short drive to many places of interest in Maine or New Hampshire.
The owner made us feel very comfortable..told us to inquire if we needed anything during our stay... Great customer service. The property was beyond clean. Our family has allergies. The owner cleans the home and linens with green products. That in itself is not found in other rentals. Our allergies did not flare up during our stay. The home is very spacious. We never felt cramped. We have rented other properties from this site as well as searching properties for rent on Google. Of the properties we have rented....This property was the cleanest and exactly as described. In addition...green cleaning supplies were supplied in the event of a spill, etc. Linens and towels were clean and plentiful.
It was a wonderful time and I recommend this property to anyone seeking quiet, ocean view as well as enjoying a home instead of an apt or condo. Also, it is a great location to enjoy day trips to the surrounding towns.
We have found a GREAT Vacation spot for our future visits to Maine.
