Welcome to Skislope Sanctuary, our newest Tahoe Donner Vacation Rental, perfect for two families. Every 4th night is free during non holiday weeks so be sure to lengthen your stay! Situated close to the Skislope ridge overlooking Donner Lake, this property backs up to greenbelt open space. The property is level with only 3 steps which is easy on the grandparents in your group. Step inside and enjoy the great room with soaring cathedral ceilings, a massive rock fireplace and sophisticated entertainment center with surround sound. There is plenty of firewood available in the rear of the house for you to use. The kitchen is a chef's dream with granite counters and stainless appliances. Enjoy the large dining room table with seats for 8 with additional seating for 3 at the kitchen island. Main Floor Guest Bedroom - Queen Sleeps 2 TV Main Floor Guest Bedroom - Queen Sleeps 2 TV Upstairs Master Bedroom - Queen Sleeps 2 Upstairs Master Bedroom - King Sleeps 2 Entertainment System Upstairs Loft - Futon - Sleeps 2 Enjoy the spacious deck outside with a patio furniture - perfect for your morning breakfast. The owner has also authorized you to use the two single seat kayaks in the garage at your own risk. There are life jackets available, but its best to bring your own to ensure a good fit. Be sure to take advantage of Tahoe Donners wonderful amenities. The two guest passes allow you to bring up to 8 people to the Tahoe Donner Trout Creek Recreation Center featuring a large summer swimming pool and year round heated lap pool - super fun for kids. Take the family down to the east end of Donner Lake to the Tahoe Donner Beach Club for a fun day at the lake. Tahoe Donner also offers fabulous tennis, golf, Nordic skiing and even downhill skiing. No Pets Allowed, No Smoking Allowed at any time on the property. Guests Groups must be a majority of over 25 years old. No Cancellation upon booking.

This is a great rental property. Very open space with great room the kids were very occupied with the ping pong table (looks pretty old but did the job. The deck was very spacious, there is a BBQ gril out back so if you're planning on BBQing bring some charcol. The property is 3 mintues away from Northstar Ski Resort and maybe 10 mins from Safeway. There is also an ipod deck which was great. I would recommend to bring extra towel and/or blankets and pillows. The loft has two beds and the kids loved sleeping up there. The carpet is not all that but you cant really expect much since it is a vacation property and in the winter I can see why it can get dirty. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will visit again.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
