My wife, 3 kids, and I stayed here for 2 night and enjoyed ourselves completely.
The place was nice and clean. The amenities were great. My kids put the spa to good use as well as the tv in their room. They loved the bunk beds and didn't want to leave. The king size bed was comfortable and clean and kept me nice and warm.
Tara couldn't have been more helpful. She was quick to respond with any questions I had regarding the rental process and gave us more than enough info regarding the area and the cabin. My family and I hope to stay here again in the winter.

Amazing stay!

Our stay at the Sugar Bear Lodge was amazing!! We had a great time, it was very clean and homey with all of the luxury of a hotel. The hot tub was fantastic - under the stars with crisp cold air - especially after long days of snowboarding.
The kids had a great time with the sleds, games and DVDs - they have more movies than a store!
The cabin was easy to get to and the owner was fabulous - both with making the arrangements and responding to issues while we were there (the wireless was down briefly but then was right back up).
We would recommend ANYONE to stay here - you will NOT be disappointed!! It is as wonderful as the pictures portray.

We had a wonderful time. If you are looking for a cozy getaway, this is it. It was as described and very clean. Tara was wonderful to deal with. We will definitely be back!

Perfection In Sugarloaf!

So I guess the first thing I should say is I've been coming to Sugarloaf for 30+ years and this, by far, is my favorite place to stay. Everything Tara promises is true. The pictures don't lie and all of the amenities are just as she says. We've stayed here twice and have no intention of going elsewhere. My wife wondered if it would be as good as last time and it was better! The new couch rules.

Now if I wanted to get picky I guess I could ask Tara to work on the weather. My kids wanted to build a snowman like they did last year and it was 65 & sunny! They got by collecting some pine cones and going on long walks. I myself didn't mind sunning myself in the jacuzzi with a cold beer!

The kids put together every jigsaw puzzle in the toy cabinet and watched all sorts of kid videos in the bunk room. There are at least 50 childrens video titles, some that made me nostalgic (wallace & grommet). The kitchen is ready to cook in. Dare I say, in gourmet style. I made the best lasagne in Tara's pyrex baking dish, which was great 'cause we forgot one.

Seriously, don't think about it, just book it.
Just not on my weekend, 'cause we will be back next year!

The entire process of renting the cabin went very smoothly. Tara made sure everything was ready when we arrived. We just loved the layout of the cabin! Was very warm and comfy. Tons of puzzles, movies, books and toys for the kids! Spa and Grill were awesome! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home every day! The only negative was that you have to bring your own bath towels, but other than that we loved the place! Thanks for a wonderful stay Tara :)

Owner's Response: Glad you were warm and cozy at Sugar Bear, : ) Towels...this is our reasoning. With a spa outside...towels go outside. We like everything in tip top and immaculate condition. We don't feel we can keep the towels up to our standard unless we constantly replace them and that would mean higher rates. It was a compromise. We decided that in order to maintain a top quality cabin at reasonable rates we would ask renters to bring their own. We always have kitchen cloth towels. Thanks for your honest assessment!
