This large beautiful 2br with private terrace is simply fantastic. The apartment features hard wood floors and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and desk with working computer. The living room has a pull out sofa as well as a large flat screen with cable TV and playstation. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and a second TV. The Terrace is enormous and is a very rare find for Manhattan.(This much private outdoor space is unheard of) As for the building... it is a newish (2007) elevator building located on a quiet street and is close to everything! (you can hang out in the lower east side (0-5 min walk)... you can shop in soho. (5-8 min walk).. you can have dinner in little italy (5 min walk)... you can have brunch in the east village (5-10 min walk)... you can have authentic chinese food in china town (5 min walk)...plus there are several subways within a 3-5 min walk so it's easy to get around the city (F/M/B/D/J/Z/6 lines)... The bottom line is this apartment is far better than a tiny hotel room for less money. Come stay here...I promise, you'll be happy you did!!!

My third trip but rest of family's first trip to New York City and chose this location because I'd previously stayed in Brooklyn Heights and Greenwich Village so thought I'd try somewhere slightly different. I preferred this lower east side apartment for location so it was a great choice.
The location was really cool with loads of bars and cafe's in a couple of minutes walking distance and still easily walkable/accessible to Soho, Williamsburg, Chinatown etc. had millions of choices to metros so getting further afield was extremely easy.
The apartment was really warm and we didn't need to use the heating (which would not be the case in a NZ house.) it was nice and spacious and the main bedroom and bed was huge.
We travelled with our two daughters as their 21st present and the apt was perfect for us and I can't imagine it not suiting anyone.
Would definitely stay here again if I was to make a fourth trip.
What an awesome place to stay for our first trip to NYC!! 6 Cali girls spent 5 nights in this lower east side apartment for our friend's big birthday trip. This place had everything we could have needed: lots of space, two large bedrooms w/ room for all of our luggage, towels and linens, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room in the building, safe and secure entry, internet and printer access. The apartment and the entire property is clean and well-maintained. The balcony is HUGE!! I can only imagine staying here in the summer and really getting to take advantage of this amazing extra space! Mike was prompt w/ response to questions and we were happy to find a bottle of wine, coffee, and an NYC map waiting for us :-) The apartment is a short walk to neighborhood restaurants/bars, subways, Little Italy and Chinatown and much more. Overall, we could not have asked for anything more for this big adventure of ours!! Thanks Mike!! Would definitely stay again!!
I live in New York and had family come visit. Instead of buying several hotel rooms like we usually do we decided to use vrbo to find an apt. We settled on this one and couldn't have been happier! The apartment and location were both spot on and the owner (Mike) was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests. My only regret is that we've waited this long to try an apartment share. lol
Hotels in New York are very expensive. That is why I was very glad to have found this apartment. This cute little apartment is great for students like me, or for a small family that likes to have a little private space in the midst of bustling city. It's also convenient because it's near supermarkets, restaurants and parks.
This was the perfect rental, nice and very clean. Mike met us before we could figure out what unit was ours, and he proved to be an exceptional host; very accommodating . This was the perfect spot as the subways were close by as well as a grocery store and nice restaurants in Little Italy. At night we couldn't hear the hustle and bustle of the city, glorious!! The apartment was as expected, but I was somewhat disappointed with the terrace. Not quite what
was depicted in the picture. The cushions were weather worn and somewhat soiled, the floor was warped in places. This could use some cleaning and repairs. However we didn't spend much time on the terrace, too many places to go and interesting things to do. Over all, I certainly would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice place to stay at a reasonable rate.
The security was great also, we felt very safe. Thanks Mike, hope to visit with you again. F Gurganus
Still decompressing from a week long stay at this glorious property on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The views from the roof are magnificent and far outweigh any deficits the terrace may have. (By the way, having 750 square feet of private outdoor space at your own disposal on this island is a Godsend no matter the condition.) Mike was the perfect host and was always willing to lend a helping hand with any questions we may have had. He was even willing to drop by a few times in person to help us poor computer illiterate souls learn how to work the computer in the apartment. The subways are short walk and Delancey Street is always full of cabs. Cab rides uptown to Broadway average approximately $20. (Without tip.) Within easy strolling distance of Chinatown and Little Italy. The street is tree lined and very quiet. If I ever return to New York for a 5th time I would definitely stay here. If you made it to this, save yourself the hassle and the trouble and go ahead and reserve this property now, you will not regret it.
This sure beats a hotel!! Sleeps up to 6 people! Everything in the apartment is brand new and top of the line. You will not be disappointed…I guarantee it! • The private outdoor space is amazing (700 sf) featuring a gazebo, patio table/umbrella, and a large hammock. • 3rd floor, elevator • hardwood floors throughout • Individual AC/heat controls in each room • There are very few personal belongings and no clutter Full large bathroom • full size tub/shower • granite tile floors • luxury cotton towels • Additional Roof deck with incredible views Laundry in the basement Neighborhood is extraordinarily hip and fun. • Tons of the newest clubs, restaurants and bars • Right next to Soho, East Village/Alphabet City, and Chinatown • Within 3-5 blocks of 3 subway lines (4/5/6, F/M, B/D)
