House was everything we needed after long days of snowmobiling. We even stayed an extra day it was so good.
I would for sure come back.
The house was perfect: light and airy with good cross ventilation for great cool nights of sleep bundled in warm covers. The outdoor and indoor gas fireplaces were perfect--easy to use and perfect around which to relax while star gazing. The hot tub was decadent after a day of running several miles or hiking or hunting and more and more stars showed up the longer one adjusted to the dark
The house was VERY well supplied--no runs to the store for essentials as they were all there! Reading on the deck or in the living room was great as the mountain view and bird feeders made an exquisite ambience. Town was not far but the next house was--ie, not crowded at all--we had our privacy. The road loop in front of the house made a nice lap for jogging at 1.3 miles per lap. I cannot find ANY complaint nor can those who traveled with us!
How do i start? Awesome and amazing place. It was like you were stepping into your already put together dream home. Beautiful views, plenty of space inside and out. Owner was awesome at explaining with how the house was set up. Just an overall amazing and wonderful experience. Cant wait to take my family back up there again.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Pagosa Springs, with privacy, room to roam, and breathtaking mountain views, Apple Mountain Ranch is the place for you! After checking the location on Google Earth, I was able to find it without GPS. This was my 3rd visit to Pagosa Springs, but my first stay at Apple Mountain Ranch. I will definitely stay again on my next trip to Pagosa Springs. This house is amazing! The huge windows face the mountains to the North, and what a view! The outside upper and lower decks also face the mountains. The lower deck has a hot tub that was ready for use, and the upper deck has a fire pit and 2 BBQ grills. The lower living space is separate from the upper floor, each having it's own key which would be ideal for 2 groups wanting privacy. The lower floor is smaller, with it's own kitchen, one bedroom, bathroom, and living area. The upper floor is larger, with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, loft, and living area. The entire house is wired for high speed Internet, Dish TV, and telephone service. Everything was clean and very well kept, and the welcome basket was a nice touch! We went for a walk around the property and down the street. The area is very serene, and we found the people in the area to be extremely nice! There are birds and wildlife in abundance, which I thought was fantastic because I saw birds I'd never seen before. While in Pagosa, we went snowboarding and rode snowmobiles at Wolf Creek, and Apple Mountain Ranch was a comfort to come back to, and warm ourselves by the fireplace. Thank you Steve and family for sharing your property with us! We'll definitely come back!
I have nothing but excellent things to say about our stay at Apple Mountain Ranch in Pagosa Springs Colorado! The place is absolutely gorgeous! Being a forgetful person, I left a valuable item at the house and Mr. Steve went out of his way to may sure that it was returned. I am truly thankful for that! I would recommend this property to anyone, from a family to a couples getaway. We had a great time visiting and doing business with this great homeowner! Do not hesitate to book now!
