Amazing vacation home!

Six of us (three couples) were looking for a quick weekend getaway from the city. We came across this property while browsing and were stunned at the gorgeous pictures. The good news - if anything, the pictures don't even do this property justice! All of us would highly, highly recommend this property. The restored home was in perfect quality, filled with old-time touches and nods to the property's heritage as well as brand new amenities in bathrooms and the kitchen. Every bedroom was comfy and spacious - there was truly no "odd out" small bedroom. The decoration was outstanding - we spent time just wondering around admiring the tiny details and gorgeous furniture. Clearly, this home was decorated with a loving hand and an artist's eye. The property is spacious and green and beautiful. A car is pretty crucial (we rented a Zipcar van) and the town nearby are cute and welcoming. Sterrett was a pleasant, gracious host and always easy to deal with - she responds to emails quickly and is helpful. For example, we had to fill the empty gas tank for the grill and she kindly sent me a reimbursement check the following week when I told her. Overall, we had a great time cooking, sitting by the fire, and exploring the natural setting. Great getaway for couples. We can't wait to go back this summer! Can't recommend this property highly enough. Truly a gem just north of the city.
