This is a beautiful property inside and out. Plenty of space. Lots of amenities included. The hot tub was great, right on the water. Ginger was a great help answering any and all questions and suggesting places to go. Sorry, Ginger, that I haven't gotten to call you since we left. Been super busy. But thank you for everything. Anne
This is a great home for adults to vacation and entertain. Clean, caring owners. Ability to kayak, fish bike or relax and watch the dolphins swim by. This is not for young kids (no fence on deck overlooking gulf). We did not want to leave. We can't wait to come back
This house is FABULOUS!! We had a family vacation (two adult sons and their SO's and our daughter) here and nobody wanted to leave. The house was very large, very clean and was well stocked with anything you could need. Our favorite spot was right out behind the house on the dock and the sundeck atop the house. We spent all of our time out here! The area is nice as well. We went to Fred Howard Beach (I didn't like this), rented a boat from Anclote Villate Marina and went to Anclote Key and Three Rooker Island (LOVED both of these places). This is a Must Do! We went to John's Pass in Maderia Beach, did some shopping on the sponge docks and went to Clearwater one evening. We saw dolphins, horseshoe crabs, stingray, and a ton of fish right off the dock. The sunsets were beautiful as well and we had NO RAIN the entire week!! The only downside was having to leave!
The minor things to point out: The grill is small and is characoal (we had 7 adults and this posed a problem cooking for everyone at one time). The master shower is quite a step down. There is a handle, but watch that first step!! The supports for the bed in the Master bedroom slide on the tile floor and half way through the night we felt as if we were falling through! None of these things were bothersome, but worth pointing out, especially for an elderly couple.
Ginger was more than accomodating before, during and after the trip. We would definitely love to stay here again, and again, and again! Best Vacation Yet!!
We were sold on all the 5 star ratings and almost wondered how they could all be true. Until we went...then we knew why. The location of this home on a point and the views afforded by the location were beyond amazing. An incredibly open floor plan of the house made us feel as if we had twice the room that the square footage says. We felt truly in a home away from home.
We loved it so much we are planning to return again in 2014!
This was a perfect vacation home and the views were outstanding! Everything was provided - you only need to bring your clothes. The house was outstanding - from its screened in patio to the wonderful hot tub to the fantastic laundry room. It was a great place for our family. We even hosted a dinner for our family in the area. The kayak provided hours of enjoyment. The view overlooking Howard Park was great. We spent one afternoon watching a lighting storm to the south while it was clear skies overhead. Hours were also spent looking for dolphins, sting rays, and horseshoe crabs. Thanks, Ginger, for providing us with a vacation we will not forget!
This property was everything as listed and more. In addition to being clean and well-maintained, it was so well stocked that we could have left our toiletries at home. Ginger was so warm and accommodating even when I kept messing up the TV cable.
The open floor plan, along with the over-sized sliding glass doors across the back overlooking the water, kept us from feeling housebound during the unusually cool weather. Bird watching was a highlight of the visit.
We ate at Hellas for lunch and dinner; the greek food was exceptional and the staff was very helpfully with my disabled mother.
This is the place to stay when visiting Tarpon Springs.
