A Great Time Was Had by All!

First of all, thanks to Mike for making this house truly dog friendly. The door off the back leads to a secure deck with steps down into a FENCED YARD! Are you kidding me? No other VRBO house I've looked at has a yard like this. Frankly, I think our dogs may be a little disappointed that they're back home, probably thought we'd moved to the coolest place on earth.
Secondly, the house. It's quite nice. Not fancy, but plenty of room, VERY clean, and everything you really need--cookware, working appliances, including washer & dryer, gas grill, heating system, large garage, LOTS of towels and extra pillows and comforters, and well stocked with the essential like dish and laundry soap, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. (If there were one thing I would change, it would be to put good quality memory foam pads on the mattresses. They're pretty stiff.)
Third, the location. The pictures are not deceiving, this house really is right on the bay. The view from the deck is beautiful, and we made sure to be up for the sunrise every day. The Munising location is perfect for day trips in all directions. We went to Seney, Grand Marais, Whitefish Point, Marquette, a dozen waterfalls, four state parks and all over the Hiawatha National Forrest. The BEST was hiking the Songbird Trail in Au Train, an awesome two mile trek through the woods. Of course, the incredible weather didn't hurt a bit. We had a great time, Mike, and we're pretty sure we'll be back! Thanks again.
