The Landings is home to 108 spectacular holes of golf, four clubhouses featuring the culinary arts of Executive Chef James Kramer, Franklin Creek Tennis Center-site of the National Men’s 40’s Championship and miles of walking and biking trails. Also on property are two deep water full service marinas, one on the Wilmington River and another on Delegal Creek directly on the Intracoastal Waterway. Skidaway Island is ideally situated on the Georgia coast. Historic Savannah, with the excitement of River Street, an abundance of fine dining, and the pageantry of the original squares laid out by James Oglethorpe in 1733 is all a quick 15 minute drive. The sun, sand and surf of the beach at Tybee Island is not much further away. Should you need access to commercial or private air travel, the area is served by the Savannah-Hilton Head International airport. The intersection of Interstates 16 and 95 affords excellent access to Atlanta and the East Coast. The resort areas of Jacksonville, Amelia Island, Sea Island, Hilton Head and Charleston are easily accessible by car.
Custom built in 2001, Delegal Dreams is outfitted with fine furnishings. The Master Suite offers a king size bed and plasma television. A large walk in closet separates the bedroom from the spacious master bath which offers a huge Jacuzzi tub as well as a separate stall shower.
A beautiful foyer opens to a cozy living room compete with a wall of windows affording a view of the 11th fairway of the Plantation course. There is even a fireplace with gas logs for that occasional chilly evening. Just off the foyer is the formal living room with space for 10 and only steps away on the back of the house you will find the partially covered porch so that you may enjoy the efforts of those on the fairway, perhaps while you use the gas grill.
The gourmet kitchen offers a gas cook top, Kitchen Aid and Bosch stainless steel appliances, Corian counters and custom cabinetry. Just off the kitchen is a breakfast nook as well as a keeping area with expansive views of the golf course. You can keep the chef company while viewing your favorite program on the 42 inch high-definition wall mounted television. If you are lucky enough, you may just spy a herd of deer galloping down the fairway. Many species of birds, such as the pileated woodpecker, hummingbirds or even the colorful painted bunting can be often seen in the backyard.
Located up the front stairs are the two large guest bedrooms and a full bath. Each bedroom offers a queen sized bed. The rear stairs will lead you the media room and another full bath. The media room is complete with a 55 inch DLP television and Bose surround sound. Sink into the comfy leather furniture and enjoy that sporting event or your favorite program. You could even press the huge leather sofas into service for that occasional unexpected overnight guest.
Delegal Dreams also offers hardwood floors, ceiling fans, three separate HVAC zones, oriental rugs, wireless high speed DSL, and a two car garage with golf cart space and door, yard maintenance and bi-weekly housekeeping.
