I love this property and stay there whenever it is not rented. The pool is relaxing, the access is super easy and it's a 2 min walk to my favorite spots, such as Season's Restaurant, St Clair Winery and the Old Town Plaza with its historical buildings, shops and restaurants.

Guestbook comments from the owner
We departed around 11AM today (Monday) and wanted to let you know we were totally pleased with the stay. It was everything you said plus more. Everyone with us enjoyed the Old Town area, the people, the history, the shops, etc. We most ate our meals out, but did a few "in-house" leaving behind about 5 or 6 beers, a few chips, and a bowl full of condiment packages which your follow-on renters might find useful. I think we emptied all the trash into the dumpster, but left the beds un-made since we

I am British and moved to Albuquerque in 2002 to complete my pilot training. I immediately fell in love with the mountains, the scenery, the sunsets and the incredible views. I hope to succeed in sharing my love of New Mexico by making this property available for vacationers. I am also a realtor in case you are relocating and need some assistance.

We had an absolute blast! the home was beautifully furnished and so roomy. The location was great, we were able to walk to restaurants and shops. We had a cookout one evening by the pool and didn't want to leave. We will be back!

CALIFORNIA FAMILY

  • 5 of 5
We had a great time in this house. We walked to old town several times, my 81 year old mother even walked to town. We went to the Bio Park which is only about 1 or 2 miles from the house. That was alot of fun. I do have to say the location was great. The only problem we had was my mother of 81 years had problems getting into the bathroom because there is only one step down to the bathroom and it was quit hard for her to go up and down it. The rest of us had no problems with the step but at 81, my mothers knees just don't bend. I would stay again without my mother because of her disability.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN ALBUQUERQUE

  • 5 of 5
We have been travelling with our son and his wife, and I chose this house to stay at in Albuquerque because I thought it would make a nice change to staying in hotels. It was really an excellent choice, because the house was a great place to stay. There was plenty of room for all of us - with different bedroom areas, so we weren't tripping over each other. The house has a wonderful lounge and dining room, plus excellent choice of TV channels and WIFI (very important when you're travelling from overseas especially!) - and the bathroom in the downstairs bedroom just has to be seen to be believed! But the kitchen was oh so good - really well set up and a dream to use. It was so good to be able to shop and cook for a change, and in such pleasant surroundings. The upstairs deck was a really good place to have a glass of wine at sunset. We followed Robert's excellent advice and visited the St Clair Winery, which was just down the road and round the corner - nice and close, and easily within walking distance. Probably the biggest selling point for me with this house was its proximity to Old Town - it really was just a couple of minutes walk away. The house also has a pool, which wasn't open when we were there and also a hot tub, which we didn't have time to use. Next time! If you are looking for a house to stay in, close to Old Town - then I would highly recommend staying here.

A WONDERFUL AND RELAXING WEEKEND!!!

  • 5 of 5
My kids and I drove in from El Paso and my parents and brother came in from Amarillo. We met in Albuquerque to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday and we did not want to stay in a hotel. We wanted a home away from home with not so much driving for either of us. The pictures were very accurate and everything listed was exact. The home was very clean and very comfortable. We had such a wonderful experience and would stay here again if a place like this was needed. The owner Robert was very prompt in his responses to my phone calls and emails. Very very helpful!! Would love to go back in the summer when the pool is open. Thanks for the wonderful memories!!
