We welcome you to enjoy our townhome just three doors in from the slopes on Camelback Mountain and along side of Camelbeach. This home just steps away from the slopes allows you to conveniently ski in and ski out to enjoy the 33 lighted slopes on Camelback Mountain. Besides the great skiing, The Village at Camelback offers amenities such as a heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and indoor tennis.

This home, being a year round rental is available to take advantage of all the Poconos has to offer. Being along side Camelbeach waterpark offers quick access to the many waterslides, pools and even a wave pool for your family to enjoy. If you're the outdoor type, just minutes away at the top of Camelback Mountain you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or just the fantastic views at Big Pocono State Park which include eastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York and New Jersey.

If relaxing is on the agenda, you can enjoy the huge L-shaped sectional with two recliners. Air conditioning will make you feel comfortable while watching your favorite cable shows or taking advantage of the free Wifi.

Whatever is on the agenda for the family vacation the Poconos has it and our home is right in the middle of it all.

The Poconos is a great family destination and our home is a wonderful place for your family to gather and enjoy all there is to offer.

Our home on Camelback Mountain is adjacent to the slopes and Camelbeach waterpark while being minutes away from Big Pocono State Park, The Crossings Outlets and Mt. Airy Resort. Most of all it’s the friendly family atmosphere that is offered at Camelback and in general the Poconos that we thoroughly enjoy. Our home offers a warm and friendly atmosphere that you will very easily and quickly come to relax in. We invite your family to stay and enjoy what our home has to offer.

Why did you choose to buy a vacation rental in this location?

Camelback is the largest ski resort area located in the heart of in the Poconos with 33 trails and 13 lifts. Camelback has grown steadily over the years to become the centerpiece of Poconos skiing - Half Pipe, Snow Tubing, Night Skiing and a Children's Program are just some of the amenities and activities offered. Nearby parks and great local restaurants add to a great family experience.

House had a musty smell and the accommodations were not as nice as we thought they would be for the price we paid. The property was not misrepresented and the process of renting went very smoothly.

Owner's Response: It is always disappointing to receive a review which is less than excellent. It is unfortunate to have a review which I believe to be unfair and is contradictory in the statements made by the guest who wrote the review. We take great effort in making sure our guests are not only comfortable and have what they need but also to respond very quickly to any problem which may occur. All you have to do is look at the other reviews and you can see I am extremely accessible and respond immediately to our guests needs. If I'm unaware of a problem, as in this case with this guest, I cannot address the issue at hand.
The statement by the guest "the accommodations were not as nice as we thought they would be for the price we paid" is then contradicted by the guests next statement "The property was not misrepresented". We make sure the home is represented accurately by photos and the verbal description. The guests comments regarding the accommodations are proven untrue by her own statement.
If there's a problem we make it a priority to get it resolved, but we need to know the problem exists. We did not know of this guests displeasure until I received notice of this review almost two weeks after their stay. I contacted the cleaner and the guests that stayed immediately after this guest, neither substantiated the claims made by this guest in this unfair review.

Excellent!

My friends and I had a fantastic time in the Poconos. Emilio is very kind, and was able to answer any questions we had immediately. The house was pleasant, with all the amenities we needed for a weekend stay. The balcony was very peaceful as well. We felt safe and comfortable being in a gated community - And maximized on the community center that was available for guests (indoor pool). Overall, a great experience!

Everything and more

The house had everything you could possibly need and more. It was more then we expected and we can not wait to go back. Me and my sister used to go to camp in Camelback and my mom used to visit every weekend. Fast forward 10 years and we feel like were kids again. The house was spotless with more then needed. The only thing i would suggest is changing the mattress on the pull-out, me and my sister decided to spend the night there and by the morning our backs were killing us. It was just the 3 of us and our poodle so the house was like a mansion to us lol and our dog loved everything about it, we weren't sure who was more excited us or the dog. Thank you again Emilio for everything.

Nice Family Meeting Place

Our family (6 adults, 2 children and dog) met up for a weekend get together and were comfortable in sitting in the living room area of this home to visit and play with the kids. The home was extremely clean and we received superb services from the owner. When we arrived we did not find a grill as advertised, but Emilio (the property owner) was quickly accessible by phone and he arranged to have a grill brought to us. We enjoyed a nice meal at the local Barley Creek brewery and some shopping at the outlets. I would recommend this property and can see that it would be great to ski from given its location. I would caution that there are a good deals of steps to enter the home and to get to either level for sleeping. Also the sitting for dinner is on stools so not good for children younger than 4 years old. You couldn't ask for a better person to rent from.

We were five men attending a week-long conference at the nearby Chateau Resort and Conference Center and very much enjoyed our stay here. The listing was "as advertised," well-maintained, clean and the owner, Emilio, a pleasure to do business with inspiring confidence and trust from the beginning which set him apart from the crowd.

The bedrooms were comfortable and the bunks, too. The kitchen was also very functional as we did some entertaining and our guests felt very "at home" here in the convivial living room.

There's lots nearby, too...Big Pocono State Park was a nice outing with a beautiful view of the surrounding area; food shopping is close by as well as restaurants and though we didn't ski chair lifts are visible from the front porch. Also, as a gated community you can get plenty of peace and quiet here.

We will definitely be back if we have the opportunity!
