This old village house is situated in the typically Mallorcan hilltop village of Buger and architecturally is a truly beautiful house with its stone walls, exposed beams, original 300 year old doors etc. It has spectacular views to the sea and the mountains, a terraced garden with optional fenced-off pool located to take full advantage of the magnificent views, and is hidden behind high stone walls

In the foothills of the Tramuntana mountain range is an area known as Es Raiguer. It is made up of 11 towns and villages that still maintain the character and atmosphere of years gone by. Of great cultural and historical interest, these towns and villages have preserved their traditions, and their cultural and historical heritage. Buger, a small hill-top village, is part of the Es Raiguer. It is typically Mallorcan and is an ideal location for those people who want to get away from it all.

    £50 per week for use of the ADSL/Internet connection
    To have the swimming pool heated during Winter months will cost around £150 per week requiring 2 days prior to the commencement of rental to heat it up. In September/October, i.e. at the end of the summer, when you are only ‘topping up’ the pool water temperature, the extra charge would be around £70 per week. In April/May/June you could expect to pay between these two prices.

Overall Layout Comments: All rooms in the house are extremely spacious and architecturally beautiful with beamed ceilings, whitewashed walls, etc.. On the ground floor an open plan dining/living area leads through an elegant archway to the kitchen area. Original double doors take you from the kitchen to the cobbled terrace, BBQ, and pool area. Shade is provided by wild olive trees and the balcony. The lighting in and around the pool and terrace areas creates a lovely relaxing atmosphere for al fresco evening dining. A twin bedroom and bathroom are also situated on the ground floor. On the 1st floor there is a 2nd living room with TV for video/DVD use and CD hi-fi player. There are double doors opening out onto the large balcony and roof-terrace areas that have spectacular views to the mountains and sea. The balcony takes you to the pool area, and the roof terrace. The 3 bedrooms and 2nd bathroom on the half-landing and 1st floor are beautifully furnished including antique furniture.

Lower Terrace Area: The lower terrace area of the garden has a small 'play' area with a swing-ball, basket-ball hoop, and net and ball area for informal (i.e. no marked-out courts!) badminton or volleyball.

Beautiful Villa & Wonderful Holiday Location

Beautiful Villa with lovely heated pool and wonderful views. Very well equiped (all kitchen appliances, washing machine & BBQ) and ideally situated to explore the north of Mallorca.

Very nice Bakery within 5 minute walk, which we visited every morning for breakfast, also bars and local shops in walking distance.

We went as two families, each with a 1 year old toddler. Would recommend you hire / buy a stair gate for the stone stairs, but otherwise very well suited with a lovely open plan area downstairs for the little ones to run around and play. Pool has steps leading to a shallow end and we had it heated to bath temperature, which was lovely for the little ones and we all had a morning dip each day. The Pool can be closed off with a gate for safety.

All rooms were very well sized and comfortably furnished with two bathrooms with shower and bath.

Would definately recommend for anyone, as there is even one bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. Would recommend car hire, especially to reach the lovely beaches in the area.

Such a lovely house

Our stay here in Búger this summer 2009 is our best holiday ever. We was hoping to stay in a pittoresk house in a real Mallorcan style in a Mallorcan village and that was what we get and much more.
The house is very fresh and clean but with all the charm you want. The pool area is fantastic with a big pool and olive trees and there is also a nice view over the land area nearby and you can see as far as to Alcudia.
The village is so charming with the bar downhill the church following by the little bakery, small shop and a restaurant where they serv really good food and where you also can suggest to split one plate to four persons, because the plate with meet is so generous :-) Just add some more potatoes and vegetables.
The village is placed on a hill with the church on the top in the center, so its easy to find it when you travel by car and needs to find youre way home.
We loved to stay there and we can really recomend any person that like the mallorcan way of living and needs a quiet and relaxing holiday.
And since the village Búger is so perfectly placed in the middle of Mallorca its so easy to travel around and see the hole iland, easy distance. So it was easy to go to different beaches and go to party on the nights aswell.
And one more important thing that made our holiday perfect was that the host was so nice and welcoming and so generous with offering the help we needed. Will never forget them nor this lovely house.
