This historic mansion is located in the center of downtown San Jose's historic district. The historic district only consists of about 4 square blocks. All of the historic structures were designed and built by European Mason's. The national theater, and museums are all a few blocks away from the mansion. All of Costa Rica's culture and history is located in this unique section of the city.
Direction tips:
In Costa Rica, formal addresses are not used, everything is explained in relation to other buildings. So when you ask your driver for our location, we are '50 metros oeste de INVU, en frente equipos nieto' In english that says we are 50 meters east of the INVU building across the street from Equipos Nieto in Barrio Amon.
Golf: Costa Rica has several golf courses ranging from wide forgiving fairways, to tight difficult fairways with multilevel greens. The courses are very unique and all relatively new. They are unique in the fact that they are all Jungle courses, or jungle and ocean course mixed. The views are breath taking and the foliage is amazing. There are several golf tournaments that are sponsored here in the months of January-June that any player can take advantage of. Many world class golfers have spoken the words that these are some of the most challenging and beautiful courses they have ever played.
