Surrounded by woodland, this charming five-bedroom Spanish villa offers a private hot tub and large sun terrace area with barbecue offering beautiful countryside and coastal views. Traditional in style, it is just a two minute drive to the beach; alternatively guests can reach the coast by taking a leisurely walk through the surrounding woodland. This villa is ideal for those that want to totally relax and get away from it all during the winter or summer season. It is ideally located for culture, art, nature, hiking and golf enthusiasts. The villa (sleeps 6) and apartment (sleeps 4) can be hired separately or together for parties of 10 people. *Hot tub will be available to guests from July 2008.

This villa is located between the medieval town of Pals and its beach at Pals Platja in the Girona region of Northern Spain. A superb area for forest walks, guests can enjoy the relatively easy walking through the woodland, swim in the blue Mediterranean Sea only five minutes’ drive away or simply relax on the large terrace and take in the magnificent views across the rolling hills to the Pyrenees Mountains and stunning sunsets to the west. Guests can also sample the many local towns and villages, their markets and churches and interesting restaurants serving mouth watering Catalan food.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A high chair and cot can be provided on request, starting from £20 each a week. Additional children's accessories such as stair gates and car seats are also available to hire on request.

    A welcome pack for Sunday and late arrivals can also be arranged on request, please ask for details.

    All bookings are subject to a £75 cleaning/laundry fee. Towels and linen are included. If a cleaner is required during your stay this can be arranged and is payable locally. Please note: towels are for villa use only, guests should bring their own beach towels.

    The hot tub can be heated for an additional charge of £40 per week.
  • Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. £100 non refundable deposit, per week is required to hold the property. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival.

    Check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure. Late checkout can be requested at an additional charge but is subject to availability.

    No single sex groups under 21 are allowed. All non UK bookings are subject to a £15 bank transfer fee.
  • In addition, a separate £200 security deposit is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable, providing there is no damage during your stay.

Places of interest: 2 minute drive to local supermarket. 5 minute drive to Las Pals beach with a variety of restaurants and bars (approximately 12). 10 minutes to Palafrugell the largest of the local towns. 10 minutes’ drive to L'Estartit a lively seaside resort with a marina, beach, watersports and nightlife. 30 minutes drive to Figueras the home of Salvador Dali. 50 minutes’ drive from the city of Girona. 1 hour 30 minutes’ drive is Barcelona with an enormous variety of art galleries, museums, shops bars and restaurants. 30 minutes’ drive from French border. Perpignan is an easy day trip. 2 hours’ drive to Andorra and the Pyrenees.

Golf: Guests have access to a delightful 18-hole golf course at Platja de Pals. A pine tree-lined masterpiece hugging the Pals Platja beach. The Spanish open has been held here in the past.
