About Brandon Tarricone
I am a professional musician and home remodeler in New Orleans. I moved to the crescent city 16 years ago to receive my degree in jazz performance and fell in love with the uptown culture. After Hurricane Katrina I started purchasing destroyed properties and rebuilding them, restoring them back to their prime. I was even featured on the show 'Flip that House'. I have completed 6 full home renovations in the uptown New Orleans area. Most of them are gorgeous old duplex properties that I still own and rent now.
Brandon Tarricone purchased this house in 2004
Why Brandon Tarricone chose New Orleans
This was the first house I purchased and I lived in it for years. I was living there when Katrina happened (this house did not flood), and only moved after rebuilding another house for myself in a destroyed part of town to help bring a different neighborhood back. This is my and many other peoples favorite areas of of New Orleans. lots of people love this area because of jacquimos and the maple leaf, and the whole vibe of oak street with all of the good people, spots and fun. I own 2 houses on this block with a total of 5 units. I love it. They are both gorgeous old houses that I have fully restored
What makes this house unique
Oak street area is a great area with the maple leaf bar, and Carrolton Station close by, and the coffee shops and restaurants just a block away its a really relaxing, fun area to be in. Never crowded with tourists, its still very centrally located in New Orleans. The universities and the parks are all just around the corner. the Mississippi River rolls by just 3 blocks away and there are so many fun things to do.
