3 comfortable sources of accommodation near to Florence. These fully renovated and tastefully furnished houses stand in the middle of a large garden, with an elegant pool and wonderful views. This accommodation offers both: rural peace and quiet but also proximity to Florence. Three houses stand on the sizeable lawn, the middle one being the owner’s villa, behind which there is a smaller house containing the Tosca and Mina apartments. Casa Violetta, a small, separate villa, is a short distance away. These three units can either be rented together or individually. Both guesthouses together can accommodate a total of 10 people: 10 people in the 4 double roomsplus 2 on sofa beds with 5 bathrooms. The houses have stylish interiors and a high standard of comfort. The furniture has been chosen with great care. In the design of the apartments great care was taken to ensure a maximum of room and privacy. Casa Violetta is a detached mini-villa. It is situated near the pool and a good distance from the other two houses. This small, modern house has a bright kitchen-living room with a long glass front and air-conditioning. There is also a washing machine, dishwasher and satellite TV. Apart from the garden areas, Casa Violetta also has a small private patio. The direct garden access is particularly convenient: the kitchen leads onto the small patio and the two bedrooms into the garden. This cottage has the best views of Florence. Short description of the rooms: Ground floor: 1 spacious, conservatory-style kitchen-living room with sofa unit (air-conditioned). Basement: 1 double room with access to the garden, 1 room with twin beds and garden access (the beds are not of the same height/ one pull-out bed), 1 bathroom (shower).

Girasole is situated in the hills in Bagno a Ripoli – an elegant region about 15 minutes’ drive (8km) from the center of Florence. Antique villas stand among olive groves. At the far end of the garden there is a lovely pool with a magnificent view through olive trees - across the valley to the silhouette of Florence, in the distance. The town is way down in the valley, the silvery Arno river meanders through it and the cathedral dome can be clearly seen. e and tranquility are guaranteed here.

    Upon request and approval of the owner a late arrival is possible between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm at an extra fee: EUR 50.
  • Reservations from Saturday to Saturday only durin middle and high season.
    Please note: During low season reservations are not limited to rental periods from Saturday to Saturday. Minimum 4 days.

Specially furnished garden sitting areas have been provided for each apartment. At the far end of the garden there is a lovely pool with a magnificent view through olive trees - across the valley to the silhouette of Florence, in the distance.

Il Girasole - surroundings: There is a restaurant in close proximity - just a walk down the hill. Girasole is an ideal starting point for going on excursions to Florence and the Chianti region. And after a long day filled with art you can return easily to your villa, where you can enjoy the rural setting in peace and quiet cooling off and having fun at the pool.
