Beautiful luxury gated apt set at the foot of the pine forests of Mijas on a beautiful stretch of Mediterranean coast between Marbella and Malaga, 20mins either way. The apt itself is in a really peaceful and tranquil setting. Furnished to a high standard with massive private terrace and sun all day long. Sky box, bring card, WiFi etc. Grounds are landscaped with palm trees, colourful shrubs and a large communal pool and toddlers pool make this place ideal for families or couples.There are fantastic views of the mountains and sea, the secluded sandy beach is only a two min walk. Bars restaurants,Thai, Chinese, Indian even a traditional fish and chips and several Spanish ones.There are general stores including a chemist. Venture further, La Cala and Fuengirolla are just a 5 min drive and offer everything major holiday resorts provide. Water park, zoo, snorkelling, fishing, scuba diving and sky diving just a few. For golfers El Chapparal is an 18 hole award winning course next door.

Nearest Airport: Malaga at 30 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 0.1 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
20 mins drive from Malaga airport and 20 mins from Marbella, and a short distance further to Puerto Banus. This place is ideal for families and couples a like. The near by attractions include Tivoli world, Aqua parks at Torremolinos and Fuengirola. There is the zoo at Fuengirola and Selwo Safari Park. There is the Crocodile Park also at Torremolinos. The golf course is next door and the only racecourse in the Costa del Sol is 10 min behind the apartment with fantastic night racing. Deep sea fishing, para gliding and scuba are all available close by. The Andalucian villages of Mijas Pueblo and Benalmadena are close by these white washed villages give you a real Spanish experience with loads of traditional foods available in their fabulous bars and restaurants. Donkey rides are available too. The tapas available all day are fantastic and help soak up the fine wines and beers. The Andalucian country side combined with the Mediterranean Sea make this a truly memorable holiday location.

I do not hesitate to recommend this tremendous appartment, and I would certainly expect to go back myself.

It is a great size both inside and out, and all the fixtures and fittings are of a high quality, no complaints whatsover. The amount of sun the terrace gets also adds to the attraction.

The area is pretty quiet, but we knew that as we stayed close by on another holiday, and that was actually the reason we looked to come back to this area. A car is an advantage, but we have also easily survived without one.

About 20 minutes from airport via taxi transfer to the apartment complex, the Los Amigos Hotel Complex over from the apartment seems to be the most recognised name to tell taxi and bus drivers during your stay, with taxi and bus stops positioned there. The area is residential and served with one supermarket a short stroll away with most of what you will need provided, there is also a small strip of restaurants (2 chinese,2 indian, 1 spanish, 1 irish bar, 1 small sports bar, we ate at the chinese and had superb food and the other restaurants seemed of similar high standard, the Los Amigos also has a nice terrace restaurant serving pizza and pasta etc ) - other than this there are no shops so the local nightlife is very relaxed and revolves around eating and drinking late in a quite resort so families with teenagers or shoppers would need to travel to fuengirolla or marbella.Taxi to fuengirolla is 12 euros /bus 1 euro , taxi to marbella 34 euros/bus 3 euros , nearby La Cala is 9 euros by taxi and offers another relaxing night out in a quiet more traditional resort - we found that the costs of travelling to all these resorts mounted up over the holiday and would reccomend renting a car as the resort is idealy positioned on main coast road! The private apartment complex was immaculate with gated security although a resident warned us to keep the security grills locked when out as there are occasional security issues in the area. Overall we would highly reccomend as a perfect base for a sun worshipers relaxing holiday , the actual apartment and lovely terrace was faultless with every luxury you would need (pool area quiet and well kept although inflatables and dinghies etc not allowed which dissapointed our children a little ) - overall we would definately go back but maybe rent a car so we could benefit from travelling to the larger neighbour resorts for broader entertainment !

My family and i recently spent a ten day holiday staying at this apartment.It is the first time we had booked an apartment over the internet,but we would definately do it again.We found the descriptions regarding the accomodation,loction,facilities etc, to be very accurate. The accomodation was excellent very clean and well maintained as were the grounds surrounding it.It was also spacious and well equipped perfect for families.Literally 5 minutes walk away there is a strip of restaurants and bars,they were all nice places to have a meal and were all very friendly. In fact the owners of the chip shop and Jan at the irish bar spent many an hour chatting and entertaining the kids.To keep the kids entertained during the day there were a water park in the next town only about 15 mins away and mini golf and the beach was literally five mins away.At night you could go to the strip of bars round the corner or go into fuengurola for more bars and karoke bars. this cost approx 10 euro in a taxi.All in all this is a lovely place and apartment to stay at and i would definately recommend it.It is ideal if you want a chill out or a lively holiday as you can get the best of both.An the owner provided great service and whad people on hand if we had any problems at all.It is somewere i would like to go again.
