3 Bedroom, 1.75 Bath, Sleeps 8+, Dinning/Living/TV Rooms, Full Washer/Dryer.

Welcome to the Sherman Inn. Our beautifully restored farmhouse is the perfect get-away for couples, families, and friends. Conveniently located off 95 and Route 11, yet perfectly nestled on a 2 acre lot surrounded by apple trees and a maple grove. More importantly, the ATV trails leading straight into Canada are just next door! A prime location for hunting and fishing.

Come and relax, enjoy the scenery, wildlife, a campfire, or just a game of Cribbage!

About the Property: 3 Large Bedrooms: Towels and bedding provided.

We will also provide names and numbers of a local massage therapist who will provide on-site massage services.

In Closing: Located in the friendly town of Sherman, Maine. An in-town grocery store is just 2 miles away, An Irving gas station is just a small distance from the property.

Millinocket is just 15 minutes South, with Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State Park just around the corner, about 30 miles from Sherman Inn. Canada and Houlton are 30 minutes North of the property.

Come and enjoy all that Northern Maine has to offer, from kayaking to canoeing, hiking to biking, hunting to fishing, and x-country skiing to snowmobiling. This is sure to be a trip you will not forget!

    Pet Fee: (Toilet trained pets only are considered on an individual basis.) $35/weekend first pet + $20/weekend for each additional pet. $100/week first pet + $50/week for each additional pet.

  • Check in time is at 3 PM on day of arrival; check out time is at 10 AM on day of departure. For us to properly clean and prepare property between guests, we ask that you respect the designated times. Thanks.

    The Sherman Inn Refund And Cancellation Policy: All deposits (less a 50% cancellation fee) are refundable for all cancellations made 91 calendar days or more in advance of the arrival date. There are no refunds under any condition, circumstance, illness, or acts of nature (i.e. floods, weather, earthquakes, flight cancellations, etc.) for cancellations made within 90 calendar days prior to your arrival date, though your deposit may be applied to a future date at our discretion. There are no refunds for late arrivals and or early departures.

    Smokers are welcome at the Sherman Inn, but no smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted outdoors only. We just ask that all butts be picked up and disposed of properly.

    Guests are held responsible for all damages and or missing items.

Great getaway!

This is a perfect place to get away from it all. The home is beautiful and spacious. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils and plates you could possibly want. Outside the pond and landscaping have just been renovated. It's close to Baxter State Park so hiking and fishing are right at your doorstep. The people were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend a stay at the Sherman Inn!

This is a very lovely and comfortable farmhouse in Sherman. We appreciated how clean and well thought out the house and amenities are. The yard is spacious with a fun fire pit on one side of the house and a picnic table under the apple trees on the other side. It could be noted for future guests that there is no television reception at the house, but there are tv sets with dvd players and several movies, there is good cell phone reception at the house, but no internet connection other than what you bring with you, the peace and quiet at the house is very nice, but some people may need to plan how they will stay connected if necessary. The house is very well stocked with linens, housewares, cooking and dining needs and even paper products and laundry detergent. Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely farmhouse rental while we were in the area to visit with family. S. Crandall
