This spacious 1200 SF 2-BR 2-Bath condo is in a quiet and relaxing location at the south end of Ali'i Dirve. Right along side the 8th teebox of the Kona Country Club, it's a beautiful setting whether you are a golfer or not. It sleeps 4-6, with two queen beds and a queen sofa/sleeper.

The Master Bedroom has a master bathroom with two-sink vanity and walk-in closet.

A fully equipped kitchen is key to a relaxing vacation. No need to run back and forth to the store. We've outfitted the kitchen so that won’t be necessary.

The large living room has a large 47' flat screen HDTV with HD cable service.

The large west facing lanai provides views of the well maintained grounds, the 8th fairway of the Kona Country Club, and the setting sun. The Keauhou Punahele Condominiums are at the southern end of Ali’i Drive, about 6 miles south of the Kailua Kona downtown/waterfront area. The community of Keauhou surrounds Keauhou Bay, a popular access point for fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and all other water activities.

Keauhou Punahele is nestled between the mountain course and ocean course of the Kona Country Club. This condo is in the southermost building of Keauhou Punahele, and offers a very quiet and serene atmosphere.

One-half mile north is Keauhou Bay with a small boat harbor and local fishing. One-half mile south is pedestrian access to a scenic and rugged lava shoreline.

Fabulous dining and shopping in downtown Kailua is only a 15 minute drive on the spectacular scenic ocean view Ali'i Drive. The Keauhou Shopping Center is only one mile away, and contains over 40 stores and restaurants, including a very large grocery store and movie theater. Just under two miles away is the lovely Kahaluu Beach park, with an abundance of wildlife for fabulous snorkeling, swimming and surfing. This area is frequented by sea turtles. The park has a picnic area with a shelter stucture, tables and chairs, showers, restrooms and free public parking. One mile further is White Sands beach, a popular swimming beach with beach volleyball.

90 miles from our front door is the stunning Volcanoes National Park, and the Airport is only 30 mins away.

  • The Master Bedroom has a queen bed, a walk-in closet with ample storage space, and a private master bathroom. There's a quiet remote-controlled ceiling fan above the bed. The room-wide sliding glass doors allow direct access to the lanai, and a ground level view of the golf course. Screen doors let the breezes and bird songs in. The master bedroom has a wall-mounted 37' Vizio TV with HD cable service. The Second Bedroom also has a queen bed, and a quiet remote-controlled ceiling fan. This large bedroom has a dresser, regular closet, night stands and lamps. A twin-sized foldable mattress is availble for an additional bed. This could be laid out in the second bedroom, or in the living room.

Notes:
Accessibility - While this is a ground floor unit, only the back side or the condo (toward the golf course) daylights to ground level, you would take a flight of stairs down from the parking lot level to the condo front door. The steps can be circumvented by traversing around the building on a gently sloping sidewalk with handrail, to access the ground-level lanai. This path is pavement and concrete sidewalk, the last 12 feet or so would be across grass. The photos of the lanai on this website show the un-paved terrain between the sidewalk and the lanai.

I am a born and raised former Hawaii resident. Returning to Hawaii for a winter vacation was made wonderful w/the condo's location, amenities, and thoughtful touches. The location is close to Keauhou Bay and Shopping center w/access to grocery shopping and dining options. The owners were very attentive and pro-active to our needs. The website is as advertised and the pictures do not lie. We would recommend the property to friends looking for a winter escape.

Outdoor everything

Fabulous in every way. I loved the wi fi connections, cable and access to the telephone. We ate all of our meals outside. In the morning the birds entertained us and in the evening the palm trees swayed us. I used the bikes and rode to the local snorkeling beach in 5 minutes. I was surrounded by 20 parrot fish. The beach is protected and calm enough for little ones who can see turtles at the water's edge. We hit the night life too - the Mai Tai festival and the Royal Kona Hotel - What could be better than live music pool side. I went swimming in the pool and took multiple hot tubs in the evening. Always clean, quiet and a treat. Loved my stay at this condo.

We were most pleased and happy staying in this great condo. It is roomy and well
maintained with classy furniture and finishes. Sitting right on the golf course the
surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. We loved listening to and watching the
birds. And the sunsets, they were just spectacular.

Carla and Lou have gone out of their way to make the place feel like home. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed to cook and relax after a day out playing in the surf and sun. The condo houses 2 bikes which we rode everyday along with a boogie and surf board. We loved the pool and there were plenty of beach towels and coolers provided for all our needs. Oh, and the fantastic lanai with glass table and chairs was a perfect way to greet the day with coffee and toast. And I almost forgot the barbecue which we used almost daily.

Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our 5 week stay and plan to return soon.

We loved out stay. The lanai with the quiet golf course was ideal. My wife and I were able to walk to hike both south to the ruins of an old village and north the local market. The facility could not have been more pleasant and well equipped. Cleaary maintained with love and care. The parking spot was much appreciated too. The owner was totally forthcoming with every needed detail. We would certainly recommend this condo to others.

Quiet Condo Indeed.

This condo was perfect for my family of four. It was close enough to the throngs of people in Kona and far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The condo was as advertised. The furnishing were new and up to date. The kitchen was stocked with appliances and some food/condiments. Wifi worked wonderfully. We spent a lot of time out on the lanai which gets full sun starting mid-day through sun down. The owners, Carla & Louis, were very easy to work with and delivered on all promises. The only thing that we would have liked to have was a stereo system in the living room that could be enjoyed out on the lanai. We will definitely return to this condo in the future.
