The privately owned accommodation has been recently completely refurbished and sleeps up to 5. The fully tiled bath/shower room has a permanent hair dryer. The lounge, with uninterrupted coastal views that constantly grasp your gaze, leads both internally to a modern fitted kitchen area with halogen hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, breakfast bar and also outside to the sun-terrace with separate areas for both sunbathing and al fresco dining. Eating here whilst the ocean sunset concedes to the panorama of the Old Towns lights is a particular pleasure. The apartment, being 1st floor, benefits from the best views and no guests above you. It is situated in a cul de sac away from the main road and provides more quiet than some estate properties. The lounge also provides comfort and amenities with CD/Radio player, DVD player and LCD flat-screen TV showing a selection of satellite channels. Maid Service, House Linen, Towels Provided. This established and prestigious complex of approximately 40 modern 1 and 2 bedroom apartments enjoys stunning panoramic views of the sea, Old Town, harbour and across to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. Although restful Lago Verde is a short walk from the main shopping area and the refined night retreats of the harbour frontage. On the estate you will find a snack/licensed bar conveniently located next to the attractive swimming pool and sunbathing terraces. Local shops, bars are within 200 yards and a superb selection of fish restaurants in the town/harbour area are all within 5 minutes walk; sandy beaches are around 15 minutes from the complex. The reception is manned by multi-lingual staff and provides all general information, excursion bookings, internet access and safety deposit boxes (though a safe exists in the apartment).

Notes: The maid/cleaning services are provided by the Lago Verde estate themselves. They are extremely reliable and professional. Any problems can be reported direct to Reception on site. Management of the apartment is carried out by a local company known to the owner for 23 years. Their contact details are in the apartment and they have an office in the town. Problems with fixtures or fittings are immediately resolved Washing machines are in the estate run Laundry - obtain token and powder from Reception.

In the Media: The Sunday People said: 'From the first morning when I drew back my curtains and stared out at the blue sea, I was surprised by its beauty. We stayed at the Lago Verde apartments in Puerto del Carmen. We found a home from home in the resort's pool bar, where Steve took refuge from the 'too hot' sun (more like his beer was too cold!). Owned by Bernie, it proved a great place to chill out.'

Travel: The cost by taxi from the Airport to the apartment is in the region of €16 or less depending on number of persons.

Children: Cot and high chair are available at £18 per week each.

Golf: The Brand new (2008) Tias golf course is 4 miles away. Arrangements are in progress to pay Green Fees locally or with booking

“hi just thought i would leave a comment on my stay at apartment a3 me and my family had a very comfortable relaxing time the apartments was everything and more what i was expecting it was like a real home from home i would highly recommend the apartmet to anyone espacially those with children its fully equipt to cater for a family bedrooms were lovley and the nets on the window was a great help was and if i was ever to return to lanzarote i would definitly book apartment again also the pool bar is a great espacially ;bernie; he,s very helpful and friendly”

Excellent place to stay

We stayed at this property in Feb 09 and found the photos did not do the place justice. It was better than expected and very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Pool area is also great. We have visited Lanzarote 4 times before but this is the only property we would consider for a return trip - great value for money. We like the old town feel to the harbour area with a good choice of bars and restaurants. Casa Rosa and Puerto Viejo were our favourites where the staff are attentive but friendly and the food is fabulous. It is a bit of a hike back up the steep hill (or you can take a taxi from outside El Ancla for less than 3 euros) to Lago Verde after a great night out but it is worth it for the stunning views whilst eating breakfast on the balcony the next morning!

We are back, from a very enjoyable holiday, to the cold and snow!!
The apartment was great and everything was fine.
It is a lovely apartment, the cooking facilities are very good.
We are hoping to go again next November for 3weeks.

Colin and I had a great time in Lanzarote and your apartment is excellent.

Everything was lovely and Bernie at the poolside Bar cooks a great breakfast.
