Regal Park is a privately owned friendly complex of 72 apartments in the heart of Candolim, and widely considered the prime resort in Goa. The complex boasts 3 large swimming pools, 24/7 gated security, extensive landscaped gardens, and is only moments away from Fort Aguada Road, with its excellent restaurants, bars & shops. Beautiful Candolim beach is a 5-7minute walk away.

The apartment has air con and inverter (a godsend during power cuts!), and comprises: large lounge, with double doors to 7m long front balcony which overlooks the pool and gardens, kitchen diner, master bedroom (king size bed) opening on to front balcony, second bedroom (2 single beds) with private rear balcony, modern shower room. We provide patio furniture and a hammock seat - perfect for outdoor eating or relaxing. The apartment is beautifully decorated with authentic paintings and has all mod cons - furnished primarily for personal use, so quality is key. It is a real luxury 'home from home' in paradise.

Candolim is the premium beach resort in North Goa. It has a beautiful sandy beach, surrounded by a host of beach bars and restaurants, and local vendors selling handicrafts and services (including wonderful massages). There are numerous excellent restaurants serving both local and international cuisine for a lively evening out. All you need for a great Goan holiday is based in Candolim, but it is also ideally located to other places should you wish to explore the area. Crazy, chaotic Calangute, young, swinging Baga Beach are both about 3 km, within 30 minutes you can also be at Anjuna Wednesday and Arpora Saturday night markets, the capital Panjim, colonial plantations and Old Goa. Taxis and rickshaws are plentiful and very cheap, and taxi drivers will be willing to do return trips and wait for you for an agreed period of time.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (British Pound) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental rates are for the apartment per week. This includes air con, satellite TV, laundry and towels (except beach towels) and maid clean/laundry change every 5 days during 2 week booking. More frequent laundry/cleaning can be arranged locally with apartment manager.

    Christmas/New Year and Easter - minimum 2 week booking required.
  • All payments are in British pounds (however we can accept US$ from American visitors and Rupees from Indian visitors by agreement).

    A 25% non-refundable deposit will secure the booking, or £200 (whichever is the greater amount) with dates held for you from the point the deposit has been cleared into our bank account. The balance of funds is required 6 weeks before departure date.

    A refundable key holding/breakages deposit of £50 is required. This money will be returned to you in the UK upon confirmation of key return and complete apartment check by the locally based property manager.
  • We will be pleased to negotiate discounts for guests wishing to stay 3 or more weeks (this includes Christmas and New Year). Long term rentals will be considered.

  • The modern white tiled bathroom contains a European style toilet and sink unit, and a shower with glass partition. Hot water is easily available via a 15 litre geyser, which just requires you to flick the switch 10 minutes before water is required. 1 complete set of towels is supplied (note: for apartment use only - beach towels can be bought cheaply in the numerous stalls and shops).

  • There are 2 large bedrooms, both with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and double lockable wardrobes. Each room is furnished with Indian throws on the beds, shot silk curtains, and original oil paintings to decorate the rooms. The master bedroom is at the front of the apartment, and has a king size bed (with memory foam mattress topper). It has a door leading onto the front balcony, and another door leading to the kitchen/diner area. The second bedroom is at the rear of the apartment, and has a private balcony overlooking the leafy lane which is the access to the complex from the main road. It has 2 single beds (again with memory foam mattress toppers), but these can be pushed together to make a double bed. We also supply an inflatable air bed to accommodate a 5th guest, if required.

Notes: The apartment is furnished to high standards as it is our own holiday home which we use twice a year, and grandparents also use it to get some winter sun. We have bought items to suit our family needs, so we have not compromised on standards with cheap furniture and decor. The apartment will only be rented to non-family up to 12 weeks per annum to help cover annual running costs. We have an inverter (based in the kitchen) which generates electricity for side lights/fridge/fans and TV during power blackouts in the area. When all else is dark, you can still see where you are and keep cool. A godsend!

Pure Paradise

Thankyou Jo & James for letting us use your apartment in March.
The apartment is a real 'home from home' and the complex is spotlessly clean. Staff work constantly to ensure all garden areas and the pools are perfect.
The location is excellent, just a 2 minute walk to the main road where there are numerous bars & restaurants. A further 2 minutes brings you to the Main Beach Rd.
Look out for the 'Bread Man' who comes onto the complex everyday at 8am & 4pm selling fresh bread rolls and samosa's.
We will definitely be back next year!

What a wonderful place to stay

If i said everything good about the place i'd be here allday, From the moment we arrived to when we left i've never been looked after so much, The apartment (What a wonderful welcom pack)The Complex, The Owners (We spent Christmas eve with), The Taxi Driver (Allan) who looked after us for the 2 weeks, The apartment was in a superb location and i've never been away for Christmas and New Year but the christmas tree and the lights in the apartment really did make it feel like Christmas in the sun, It's the 2nd time i've been to Goa and i'd never stay anywhere else now apart from Candolim and will always look first to see if Jo and James's apartment is free.

Thanks Jo and James for making our Christmas 2010/2011 a very enjoyable one and thanks for the drinks when i got engaged on the stroke of midnight ;o)

Wonderful Holiday Experience

As a previous visitor to Goa this was the best accomodation by far. It was just as advertised a wonderful 5 star apartment. The gardens and pools were kept spotless and everyone on the complex was very friendly and helpfull. We could walk to the supermarket and found loads of good restaurants all within walking distance. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. It was so great I have booked 3 weeks in this apartment for next year!! Thanks Jo and James outstanding!!!!!! :)

We love Goa

After long journey from USA via Mumbai we were real happy to find a friendly face of the driver waiting for us at the airport as planned.
The apartment was everything we wanted for our vacation and we were at home instantly. The beds were comfortable, with lots of space for the whole family. The photo snaps do not do the place justice. Our only problem was we had only 1 week here - next time will take 2 weeks to really relax and enjoy everything. We were sad to leave.
Thanks to Alen the driver and Sarah the manager for your help and advice. We will see you again!
