Beautiful, peaceful!

My husband and I rented this cabin for our 28th anniversary. The cabin is beautiful, but the best part is the screened in porch with amazing views of 8 mountains! The very well equipped kitchen was a true pleasure to cook in and we enjoyed fresh local produce. My husband enjoyed grilling steaks, salmon, chops on the gas grill and it was amazing to eat on that porch with that view. This is probably not the place for the party crowd but we enjoyed the peace. Despite the relative seclusion, the cabin is convenient to Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Hendersonville, and Asheville. This would also be a great place for a multi-generation family trip, the basement had ample sleeping areas, along with the pool table and 60 inch HD TV. We highly recommend this cabin!

Beautiful and relaxing. Felt isolated (which is what we wanted) but if we wanted to go somewhere it was only a short drive. The screened in porch was wonderful and the kitchen was well equipped. Only wish it had two master bedrooms upstairs.

Great Mountain Retreat

My husband and I spent almost 7 weeks at this mountain retreat and loved every minute of our stay there. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The property was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved to sit on the back porch and watch the fog roll in. The grounds were beautiful. We kept very busy. There was always something to do. We enjoyed visiting all the quaint little villages around the Hendersonville area. Asheville was so close. We were able to go there many times and spent a full day at the Biltmore Mansion. We went hiking at many of the area parks. The waterfalls in the area are breathtaking. We hope to make it back again soon and would highly recommend this lovely home to others, as well.

An absolute wonderful place to get away!

This cabin couldnt have been more perfect for myself and my closest friends. Upon arrival, we found that absolutely everything we could need was provided and the house was so comfortable and clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was much larger than we thought and all 8 of us were very comfortable the entire weekend. We especially loved the fireplace (had one going almost the entire time!) and the pool table. This cabin was also in a wonderful location, still close to certain attractions, but it felt like we were away from everything else. All of us would highly recommend staying at the Emerald Cove Cabin and we hope to get to visit again soon!

Great Family Getaway

We chose the Emerald Cove cabin because the floor plan seemed well suited for our group of three adults and three girls ages 10 to 19. The cabin was clean, well appointed and very spacious. We made good use of the pool table, hot tub and fire pit. Having a second living area on the lower level was ideal for the younger generation. The view from deck was spectacular, and the location was central for seeing many sights in the area. We enjoyed visits to Carl Sandburg's home (the house tour was delightful and the girls loved the goats). Chimney Rock State Park and Dupont State Forrest were awesome. Hendersonville and Asheville are both fascinating towns with plenty to see and do. The owners were easy to work with and responded propmptly to any questions or requests we had. All of these factors combined for a relaxing and fun getaway for our family.
