Cajun Experience

This is my 6th VRBO rental from different states and the first time i feel compelled to write a review. The home is well appointed and spotless inside. I was here for most of the month of march 2013, I didn't come here to fish but dropped a line at the backporch bayou and ended up catching 22 black drums averaging 25 to 35 lbs. Also caught red fish, speckled trout, salt water catfish, croakers. Saw an amazing amount of birds from that location, and took a side trip with one of the locals where we filled a cooler full of fish and just had an amazing time. But the real gem in this trip is the owner, Raymond Sonnier who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I now know what Southern Hospitality is. Thanks Raymond for the experience.

Owner's Response: To my Canadian friends...thank you for the kind review but the pleasure was all mine! One of my favorite experiences involving this rental is the ability to share our culture, food, and environment with others and to learn about their way of life in far-away lands. I have had visitors from Canada, Australia, and from all over the US.
Several of the great pics of your catch are on the web site!
Also, we love the inukshuk and it occupies a place of honor in our home. I did some research on this interesting monument learned that this symbol was used as the the logo for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver!
