|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
This authentic 1 bedroom hand hewn log cabin will make the perfect honeymoon experience for the couple that wants to retreat to the mountains for an intimate getaway.
The most striking feature is the rustic frontier atmosphere this home creates. The living room has a plasma 32' TV/DVD/VCR and comfortable furniture as well as a fireplace constructed out of mountain stone from the park. This home is uniquely designed so that the wood burning fireplace is built into the wall separating the living room from the bedroom. The result is that the fireplace opens onto both areas providing an intimate atmosphere in either space.
The bedroom has a king size bed with a delicate iron wrought bed frame and a second plasma 32' TV. It opens into the Jacuzzi room which is windowed on all sides, overlooking the wooded seclusion of the surroundings. The front porch has a 2 person swing and rocking chair great for taking in your wooded seclusion. Just Added a new HOT TUB!!!
The kitchen is fully furnished with all the amenities you might need; you'll never have to leave if you don't want to! Additionally, the home has a separate full bath and washer and dryer.
Located on a secluded drive with only one other home, this cabin is a perfect place to come if you want to escape the world.
There is a 3 night minimum on all bookings unless there are only 2 nights open on the calendar. this is the only way to keep our rates low as the 3rd night basically covers all the fees. we also try to only book full weeks during holiday weeks and if it is more then 2-3 months away. But we also try to accommodate all our Guest who want to stay with us!!
We stayed here for three nights and loved it! We were very close to Gatlinburg, but not too close. Very quiet setting. The Hot Tub was great after hiking all day. Thanks!
Great location-close to Gatlinburg, grocery store , pet friendly, and description, pictures of cabin were as shown on vrbo.
Cody was great to work with regarding reservations, etc.
My husband and I loved this little cabin. Perfect location. We took our 7yr old son for his first trip to the mnts, He slept on the couch. Loved the fireplace! We will love to rent this cabin in the near future!!
My husband and I were able to stay at the cabin for almost a week. Cody was great to work with and he was very accommodating to our needs. In a nice, quiet location, yet we were able to walk to Gatlinburg and enjoy shopping and dining. We hope to return in the future!!!
We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Cody's cabin, and it was perfect! The cabin really does look exactly like the pictures. The kitchen has anything you could ever imagine stocked in it-- muffin pans, large skillets, handheld mixer, Tupperware, and many other items. The deck off the kitchen is very nice we liked to sit and eat breakfast out there. The hot tub worked great! The bathroom was very nice but be sure to bring a roll of toilet paper, haha. The bed was comfortable and the Jacuzzi tub worked perfectly also. The location of the cabin is ideal for people wanting to tour Gatlinburg and also the Roaring Fork Motor Drive (very cool) ends at a road seconds away from cabin. Just make sure your vehicle is good at going up very steep hills to get up the driveway!
I would definitely go back to this cabin is was amazing!
My husband and I had the pleasure of enjoying an eight day vacation in this cabin. We love the Smokies and visit as often as possible. We have stayed in many cabins through the years and are always on the lookout for that "perfect cabin". I'm pretty sure after staying at Bear Naked that we've found it.
It is the perfect size for two, so quiet and authentically rustic but with all the amenities/conveniences you could possibly need. The location is just right for a quick trip to town but enough removed from the hustle and bustle that you can truly relax and enjoy the nature surrounding you.
We had lots of family in the area who were staying in a huge cabin all together and we were so happy to come "home" to our little sanctuary every night. We hiked with the group to the LeConte Lodge for an overnight stay which was an amazing experience and the hot tub and comfy mattress at Bear Naked were welcome sights after hiking back down. Since we knew we were going to miss a night staying in the cabin we chose, we were grateful to find Cody and his reasonable rates- even on a holiday week. He was very easy to work with.
We will absolutely be returning to this cabin. We actually came back for a weekend trip the next week to see the synchronous fireflies and were sad that Bear Naked was booked. Oh well, hopefully next trip.

After Staying at other rental properties I learned that charging extra fees, hidden fees, taxes, and anything else they can come with just confused and irritated me. So that's why i am proud to announce no fees just flat rates. And there is also no reason to hike up prices just for holidays. My bank dose not charge me more for holidays why should I charge you more??
To book your stay there is a 200 down payment that counts towards rent and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your stay. if booked within the 30 days full payment is due upon booking. personal check is preferred payment methid but we can take credit cards through paypal. There is no fee for Checks but there is a 5% fee for credit cards
