This prestigious three bedroom/ two bathroom mews house has recently been completely upgraded to a modern, stylish, contemporary finish. The mews lies at the heart of South Kensington with its many bars, boutiques and restaurants. It is just a three minute walk from South Kensington tube station, yet the mews offers a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis.

The house has on the ground floor the large open plan L-shaped living room with light streaming in from the front windows, two three seater settees, coffee table, feature fireplace, dining table and six chairs, and off to the side is the fully integrated kitchen with all usual appliances and breakfast bar with 4 stools.

On the first floor is the master bedroom with king size bed, built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers, bathed in light through juliet style doors looking out onto the mews and en-suite bathroom with tub and hook up shower, hand basin and wc; a second double bedroom with built in cupboard, chest of drawers; and a third single bedroom. There is a separate family bathroom with tub and hook up shower, wash basin and wc.

Not only are you a walk away from South Kensington with its famous museums (Victoria and Albert, Natural History etc), but you are easy walking from Harrods, and Chelsea’s Kings Road which since the 60's has been a haven for the music and art community of London.

Easy access to the Royal Albert Hall boasting not only the big music events but enjoy live jazz in the evening while eating in the Edgar Room, or live music while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee at the Café Consort. Chelsea has its own Theatre (the Royal Court Theatre) and live music venue (Cadogan Hall) at Sloane Square, let alone the score-plus theatres in the West End. Just a 10 minute underground journey brings you to Leicester Square, or the Palace of Westminster and Buckingham Palace. The mews house in the ideal location for both tourists and business people alike. There is a supermarket (Waitrose) on the Old Brompton Road just a couple of minutes away.

If you go to google maps and enter SW7 3AF and then move the little man onto the road you will get a good street-level view of the area.

As with all of central London, it is far easier to get about on public transport than a hire car as there is daily congestion charge and parking charges and Chelsea is wonderfully situated being so centrally located to all of the sights. There is a London City/Barclays Bank bike hire scheme - see transport for london's website under cyclig; and car club schemes that take away many of the headaches such as citycarclub and Streetcar)

Great place and great location

We just stayed at this property and had a great time. The location is very close to many restaurants and a grocery store. We had our two children (ages 4 and 6) and my mother-in-law. The apartment was definitely large enough for us. Fay and Mark were very nice and everything was as it was supposed to be. We walked to the Natural History Museum and Hyde Park (a bit of walk, but the kids made it). The tube station is very close. The kitchen has every appliance you could need. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Lovely, well-located and managed two story house

This mews house was perfect for our group of 5. It has three bedrooms (one each of large, medium and small) and two bathrooms and a small deck on the second floor, and an open plan downstairs. It has a washer and dryer, internet, and a dishwasher. It is located a short walk from South Kensington tube stop and walking distance to everything you could possibly need and lots of tourist sights. The house is on a beautiful, quiet mews and the neighbors were very friendly to us. The managers of this property met us exactly when they said they would when we arrived and departed and were very professional and pleasant. We would highly recommend this house.
