Charming antique boat house located directly on Long Pond. Quiet, peaceful accommodations with 180 views. Watch the American Bald Eagles and Osprey search for fish at dusk from your private deck that reaches out over the pond. Long Pond is full recreation, and kayaks are available. Hiking, bicycling, golfing, fishing, swimming, boating, snorkeling, sunbathing, and napping are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed in the quaint, semi-private, pond-front accommodation. We are just 2 miles from the Pinehills golf courses, 6 miles from White Horse Beach, 7 miles from Pine Hills mountain bike trails, and 8 miles from downtown Plymouth where you can go whale watching, deep sea fishing, take the ferry to Provincetown, or attend many of our tourist attractions. We are just 10 miles from the Cape Cod Canal. Children over 10 are welcome.
Property is humble but tastefully done. The inner space of the boathouse was warm and inviting. I would love to be napping there right now. Kitchen was well equipped. A bit high priced; had the neighboring property been filled with people, it may not have been so tranquil. Otherwise pack your goods and get away to nature, beautiful trails just steps away.
The Boat House is located directly on Long Pond just 1.5 miles off of Route 3 heading toward Cape Cod. We are just 10 miles from the Cape Cod canal, the gateway to Cape Cod. Although we are so close to the highway, you'll feel as if you've traveled hours into the wilderness when you reach the property. We are in a secluded cove where wildlife is abundant. The lush white sandy beach is shared with The Lake House, which is a four bedroom home that sleeps 8.
