Villa Ivrea is located at the northern tip of Cap Estate and boasts breathtaking views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Designed by the American architect Dan F. This newly-built estate is only five minutes away from the St. Lucia Golf & Country Club and its fantastic 18-hole course, set within the scenic rolling hills of Cap Estate.
Other Activities: About 45 minutes by car, going towards Soufriere, you will find the Tet Paul Nature Trail, which is nestled on six acres of lush, verdant land in the farming community of Chateau Belair. The trail is located in the Piton Management Area, Saint Lucia’s World Heritage Site. Hiking the trail is like soaring heavenward on a beautiful, natural staircase. The hike is rated easy to moderate and is roughly 45 minutes long. The trail boasts some of the most spectacular views of the South of the island, the Jalousie Bay, Petit Piton and Gros Piton as well as Martinique and St. Vincent on clear days.
Golf: The Saint Lucia Golf & Country Club (18 holes), located inside Cap Estate, is only 4 minutes away by car. Their rate for a round of golf (including the cart) is US$145 during High Season and players can tee off as early as 6h45. If you would like to know more about a preferred pricing agreement, please give us the exact dates you have in mind, as well as the number of people in your party. Unfortunately, the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course next to Villa Ivrea will not be finished before Fall 2012, but we are sure that once you see it you will want to come back as soon as they open.
A great alternative is the La Toc golf course (9 holes), located 30 minutes south from Villa Ivrea. La Toc is the oldest golf course on the island. It is rather hilly, but the expansive views of the Castries Harbor and the Caribbean Sea make it really worth the trip. Their rate is US$60/round and they have no carts.
