The 'Kas Largu'-villa (means: Big House in local language) is one of the most luxurious villas you can rent on Curacao, though still very affordable. It is situated in one of the most beautiful, safe and luxury neighborhoods of the island: Jan Sofat. In this area you will find multi-million houses and is secured 24 hrs/day. Only residents and registerd guests are allowed acces, so you will have a safe stay without any hustle, noise or city traffic.
The villa we can offer you here is large, spacious and perfectly maintained. The villa is build in Spanish mediterrenean style and has a tropical garden with many trees and local flowers and a private pool.
All rooms are situaed on the ground floor. The villa offers privacy and is fenced with a remote entrance gate. You can park your car safely on the premises of the villa.
The villa offers a very large living room, dining room, luxurious kitchen with all appliances and granite countertops, cooking island and offers you all you need.
Large and luxury!: The main building has an open lay out, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths (1 of them is private to the masterbedroom) and the adjacent 'maids room' (very common on Curacao) has 1 extra bedroom and a bathroom. The 4th bedroom can be reached through the covered porch. In total you have 4 bedrooms and 3 baths at your disposal.
A seperate TV-room (with air conditioning) has a large LCD-tv (40') with surround system. A DVD-library is available.
As you live mainly outside on Curacao, the large back porch (covered terrace) offers you dining and lounging for 8 people. During the day you will like the tradewind coming in the villa, making it a very pleasant plce to stay.
The porch is fenced, which is an extra 'plus' for small children: the cannot walk to the pooldeck without seeing it.
The pooldeck is constructed of 'cooldeck' which is pretty cool to walk on, even on the hottest part of the day. A large tropical 'palapa' gives you enough shade and 8 sunbeds provide space for everyone.
Local area: The Jan Sofat-area is on the edge of the so called 'Spanish Waters': a large, shelterd lagoon called after the Spanish invaders during the 15th and 16th century. Nowadays pirates are gone and a lot of watersport activties are offered, many restaurants can be visited just overlooking this lagoon with its many yachts. Just on the other side of the lagoon you will find 3 well known beaches (Caracas Bay, Jan Thiel and Papagayo beach Club) where you can just go to the beach or want to experience a more 'Miami South beach' atmosphere. Lounging, swimming, diving and snorkelling are famous here. Never had a scuba dive experience? check out here: cheap and very comfortable as Curacao offers world class diving ans is one of the few places on earth where great shorediving is offered.
The area has many restaurants, nightlife, pubs and offers all tourist facilities you can expect from a tropical island, without turning into crowded 'Aruba-like' hustle and bustle.
