The bus stop is one block from the Loft on route to the UT campus. Pecan season is here again, so you will find tasty cinnamon pecan treats and fresh organic eggs from our resident chickens! A very comfortable queen bed, nice leather couch that converts to a double bed, 32' flat screen HDTV, high-speed wireless internet access, and a full-size kitchen stocked with great coffee and teas. These are a few of the features of this 500 sq. ft. loft. There is also off-street parking, and a fully-fenced small courtyard for those traveling with their dogs. Just minutes from great coffee shops, restaurants and music venues. Relax at Brentwood Park across the street, with a walk or a game at the basketball court, or the tennis courts. The Loft is 10 minutes from 2 beautiful municipal golf courses and less that 15 minutes from the 4.5 mile Bull Creek hike and bike trail.
Centrally Located just 10 min North of Downtown : Austin's famous Epoch Coffee Bar is a 5 minute drive and Threadgills restaurant and music venue is 5-6 blocks away. Ginny's Little Longhorn Bar - the only place in town to offer Chicken Sh*t Bingo, is 5 minutes away!! Also, Monkey Nest Organic Coffee is a 5 minute drive. Many other music venues and lots of Japanese and sushi bars close by. 6 Blocks away from Dallas Nite Club!

My Texas roots brought me back from up north in 1988. I have been enjoying this beautiful city with much gratitude every day. I am a Realtor by profession but my passion is my grandchildren. I love taking them to the City pool a block away during those blistering summer afternoons. Digging thru the multitude of vintage and antique shops nearby continually feed my age old passion of hunting for those special old must haves. Why Terry Parr chose Austin
This newly renovated loft is my guest house loft. I had fun residing there while the rest of my house was being renovated. It actually feels like a tree house as it nestles among oak and pecan trees. It's fun watching the trees sway and the squirrels and birds while being totally protected inside the loft. The property is so amazing and filled with history and character and I feel it is my privilege to be bringing it back to its original stature. The social nature of the neighborhood is awesome. The neighborhood deli a couple of blocks away as well as the grocery store gives it an old town feeling - right in the middle of Austin - its great! - come visit and you will experience a part of the way old Austin used to be.
What makes this house unique
The unique benefits are to numerous to list, but I will try. For starters - the Japanese and Sushi Bars are a delight! One of Austins original music venues - Threadgill's is less that a mile away. The unique Alamo movie and dining experience is less than 5 minutes away. The Saturday Farmers Market - a few blocks away- is also a delight. Just ask me and I will point you to so much more.
