Peaceful family adventure

I deeply love this place on earth and the process of reducing my memories into a somewhat informative review is almost painful. The house itself isn't extravagantly beautiful or luxurious but it is convenient, tasteful and very homey.

Most days begins and ends on the shady terrace which creates a bridge between the house and the garden with doors from the kitchen, the living room and two of the bedrooms. The pool is big and deep enough to keep the entire family occupied for hours. There's also table tennis, bicycles and a place to play petanque.

The owner and the caretakers are friendly and helpful if you need them but they also leave you to yourselves. I'd recommend a stay here until the end of this world. Make sure you have a car and a guidebook as there are a million things to visit, see and do.

A really nice place to stay for those who want to get away from it all. The property is off the beaten track but actually not that far from the main roads. Lots to do, even if it rains with table tennis, bikes and a private pool. Lots of walks and once you have stocked the super kitchen with local produce you can just explore or relax, whichever takes your fancy! The privacy that this property offers was the high point for me, that and the "Roman Villa" feel about it.

Comfortable villa set in magnificent grounds, with lovely pool and a great terrace for dining al fresco. Even better than on photos! I would strongly recommend this property.

We can really recommend this beautyful place for holidays!!
Such a large garden and a lovely environment , not only the dogs did love it :-) . The house as well is homely and well equipped, the ping-pong table and the bikes give you enough action besides the pool and the large patio is wonderful to rest, day and night!
The village nearby is an old, romantic place to go eather shopping (many very special craft-shops) or have a seafood-dinner.
This is for sure, we come again ! Marlis

die Lage des Hauses ist wunderschön. Inmitten eines tollen Gartens, fernab der Straße, mit genügend Bewegungsfreiraum für die Kinder. Wir waren diesen Sommer in der Villa zu Besuch. Wir, das sind 6 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder (davon 2 Babys) . Leider ist das Haus für die Anzahl an Personen fast zu klein. Ein Schlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer und de facto gibt es nur 2 Toiletten, 1 Dusche und 1 Badewanne/Dusche. Empfehlung für Familien mit ganz kleinen Kindern: Reisebett einpacken und Buggy zuhause lassen. Das Gitterbett vor Ort ist eher instabil - dafür gibt es einen sehr guten Buggy.
Alles in allem ist es aber ein sehr schönes Haus in einer tollen Umgebung. Für max 2 Familien sehr zu empfehlen!
