Disneyworld Done Right! When you go to Disneyworld, it can be a very tiring day...unless you stay at Mickey's Ranch and do what we did every day. We got up early and went to the parks. We came back home in the afternoon and had lunch and dinner by the pool and barbecue. We returned to the parks for the parades and fireworks relaxed and refreshed.

We watched the other families stressed out over a long day while we enjoyed it all.

Since Mickey's Ranch is only a few minutes away, you can feel free to get away for a little bit. We'll never do it any other way.

Sea World and Aquatica: Wow..Sea World is amazing, but Aquatica is the best. We spent a day in the lazy river and the kids went on the rides and slides. Although it's a theme park, it can be a very much needed break in your trip. We rented a cabana so we could leave all our stuff behind. If we had more time away, we probably would have gone back to Aquatica a few more times.

Windsor Hills STAYCATION: If you want to sit back and relax, you've found the right place at Mickey's Ranch at Windsor Hills. You don't have to go to the parks to have a nice stay. During my recent visit with my family, we stayed on the grounds for half the trip. The pool is SPECTACULAR and the 2 story water slide is the highest in the area for any resort. The hot tub takes the aches out of your bones and you can even order a massage to come to the home (my wife loves them).

Some days you might want to go to the fitness center to work off those indulgent meals that you might have had at the great restaurants or you could choose to shoot a few hoops in the recreation area.

If you like tennis, volleyball...it's here too.

There is even a putting green where you can practice improving your handicap. Oh, and at Mickey's Ranch we provide you with the sports equipment to use the amenities more conveniently. If you want tennis equipment, you can get them for free at the Community Center Welcome Desk.

  • This home is blessed with 4 bedrooms and each has their own bathroom! 3 have showers and one has a tub also. The home comfortably sleeps 8 but we have had and will allow up to 10 guests. The Main master bedroom (Animal Kingdom) is special as it has sliders to the pool and Spa area. The Epcot room gets nice light from the front of the house, and the Hollywood Studios Suite is on the other side of the house and offers just a bit more seclusion.

We loved the house. It was my wife and kids, my parents, and my brother and his significant other on vacation. We had a great time. Close to everything we wanted to do; Universal, Seaworld, Disney. Tons of restaurants close by. Kids loved the pool and hot tub and the fact that there was a TV in their room. The rooms are all nice and private, it was like having 4 hotel rooms. I think the pool area has decent privacy. Sure there is a path behind it, but there are shrubs. Other houses in the resort have another house looking in their back yard. Not the ranch. Other then the path, which we never was anyone n, there was an empty parking lot. Next time we vacation in Orlando this is our first choice.

Happy family holiday

We had a wonderful family holiday and the house was well equipped and really suited our extended family trip.

The layout was perfect with each bedroom having it's own private bathroom and the games room was fantastic for the kids.

If the outside pool area is of high importance, the lack of privacy could be an issue with the footpath running straight past it. Also, depending on the time of year, the pool being north facing could be good or bad!

Proximity to the clubhouse was brilliant.
