This was my first time staying at a condo for vacation instead of a hotel. I enjoyed my stay in the condo and felt like I got a better Mexican experience by staying in this charming, homey condo.
The neighborhood was pretty quiet and I felt very safe. No church bells. We did hear church fireworks one night and could see them from the rooftop. It was very easy to pick up a taxi at the end of the street for 30 pesos if you did not want to walk. There was a lovely, small neighborhood park down the street.
The condo was clean and charmingly decorated. The central courtyard shared by the condos is beautiful and has a fountain, benches, and lots of plants. The pictures are fairly accurate, but the kitchen patio garden has grown and has more flowers. Each bedroom had its own bath and balcony with spacious tiled showers. I had the twin bedroom which had a ceiling fan and an extra column fan.
Lots of natural light in the kitchen and living area. The kitchen had everything you needed. It even had a 20L bottled water dispenser which is important since the water in San Miguel is hard and most don't drink from the tap. We used the kitchen for breakfast and snacks and ate out the rest of the time. I loved drinking my coffee in the kitchen in the morning, turning on the water feature and watching the sparrow birds in the patio garden.
Both a Vonage phone for calling USA and a Mexican phone were provided. Internet service was good. Having a washing machine and dryer was nice. I would recommend this property.

The surrounding Guadiana neighborhood enjoys an excellent reputation for safety and is in close proximity to the Centro, the Jardin, Instituto Allende and Juarez Park.
